Coreoscope is a term we have invented to describe our new core collection inspired from the light reflection toy kaliedescope ! In the context of music, we use Coreoscope to present different aspects of dark and core sounds that challenge traditional perceptions of hard and fast music genres.

By utilizing Coreoscope as a sound toy or mechanism , we aim to create a unique imaginerium for listeners, breaking down their prejudices and introducing them to new forms of perception through our music. Just like how a reflection can changes from different angles, VA Coreoscope aims to transform and evolve, drawing the listener into a new and immersive experience.

The concept of Coreoscope opens up a world of possibilities, where listeners can explore mind-bending sounds and textures that blend elements of darkness and core with colorful reflections. Whether it's incorporating heavy bass lines, aggressive beats, haunting melodies, or experimental sounds, Coreoscope allows us to create a sonic landscape that defies traditional genre boundaries.

Through this selection, we hope to captivate and challenge the listeners, pushing them to explore new sonic territories and immerse themselves in the depths of unique core imaginerium. By embracing the idea of Coreoscope, we aim to expand the horizons of psycore music and redefine what it means to create and experience music in the new age.

The project Abnormal Frequency represents the musical development of Johnny Psychas, originating from Greece.
In 2018, I began mixing tracks from my favorite artists to create storytelling sets, which innevitably grew  my passion for music exploration and  led me to focus on music production and sound design in late 2023.
The project emphasizes objective sound design, with hypnotic rhythms and layered textures, creating immersive environments  aiming for complete detachment.

The inspiration for the project  came inevitably by thinking  how even a single frequency can put us to different dimentions and states. This is why i  dedicate my project to create this abnormal state of mind for auditory exploration.

He did not wake up — he remembered that he existed.

Around him stretched an endless ocean of pale light, cold and lifeless like the gaze of an ancient god. 
No ground, no direction, only a crushing emptiness in which even thoughts grew heavy. And yet: beneath his feet stretched a disk of glass, thin as the ice on a dying pond.

Below, a clockwork of inhuman scale ground on — colossal gears spewing rusty sparks into the abyss, iron giants whose movements were so old they seemed to steer the very breath of the world. The sound of ticking was everywhere, a flat, malicious pulsing that seeped into his bones.

He stepped forward.
The glass trembled. Another step. A soft, hungry cracking.
With a scream that did not come from his mouth, but from reality itself, the world broke beneath him.
He fell — or rather: he was devoured.

The clockwork peeled flesh from thought, tore memory from consciousness as he plunged downward. Gears, their edges glowing with obscure colors, slashed past him so closely that they carried the whispering of lost souls.

Time had no name here.
He became a droplet in a black river, carried through planes of existence beyond understanding.

When his consciousness finally began to take form again, he saw:

Windows — cracks in the fabric of nothingness.
Beyond them: worlds never meant for human eyes.

The darkness itself breathed words into him, formless yet sharp:

Choose. But know: every step is a chain. Every choice a sacrifice.

He floated, alone with his fear, his hunger for meaning — and the knowledge that every world would change him.
Perhaps break him.
Perhaps erase him.
