Whispering Spores

Solenopsis is a powerful music project created by a collective of Mexican artists compiled by Haniba, dedicated to the spirit of Aztec culture. The album takes its name from a resilient species of ant that lived during the Aztec era, symbolizing strength and collective unity.
Each track draws inspiration from Aztec mythology, its deep connection to nature, and ceremonial music, blending traditional sounds with modern forms.
Solenopsis is a call to reconnect with ancestral roots, merging the rhythm of the past with the voice of the present, both a tribute and a revival.

TormentO’s new album unfolds as a cinematic journey of searching, lamentation, strength, and, above all, the peace of being with oneself. The Divine Intervention takes shape as a journey through self-knowledge, acceptance, and the closing of one cycle so that another may begin.

The album represents a path of self-discovery, as if one were travelling through the spectrum of life and experiencing each moment fully: the lessons, the struggles, the sadness, the victories, and the loves.

Each track tells a small, abstract story drawn from TormentO’s life, carrying with it profound emotional weight.

The album begins with tracks that will guide you into trance and dance, and as the story unfolds, the narrative becomes increasingly confusing, tense, and abstract. Ultimately, it leads back to the true self—toward acceptance of everything that has been lived, and gratitude for every moment that has shaped who you are today.

The artwork and music also serve as a tribute to his partner, Pingo, who passed away earlier this year.

For his reimagining of MORNING FOG, Chilean producer @nintuelectroorganic — known for his atmospheric depth, organic textures, and cinematic electronic sound — transforms the track into an epic journey. The remix opens with a mist-like ambient introduction before erupting into a powerful dance piece, driven by soaring synths and arpeggios sculpted from NAOBA’s original piano. The piece also features the voice of Ness, poetess and long-time collaborator of NAOBA, whose vocal channeling carries the presence of Earth/Gaia through the music. The result is a track that feels expansive, alive, and luminous — like dawn turning into full daylight.
