METACORTEX DJ CONTEST WORLDWIDE 

We are looking for DJs to present our sound in different parts of the world! We want to expand our sound family by collaborating with like-minded artists! 
Maximum reposts and likes will enhance the artists chances of winning. We prioritize reposts first, and in case of a tie in likes, higher reposts will determine the winner. As listeners and voters you should also follow our Soundcloud Page and need to comment to the sets. After the public voting on soundcloud we will have last round with Metacortex main artists to select final winners. 
 
Our objective is not only to identify a single winner but to recognize talented artists from diverse countries. We aspire to select one outstanding artist from each participating country. We will identify a maximum of 7 artists based on higher reposts and likes but the final decision rests with Metacortex Records main artists.

Voting deadline: February 25, 2024. 
Winners will be announced on March 5, 2024.

Heii, also known as Korspsy, is a DJ and organizer from Hong Kong and London. His journey into the realm of dark psychedelics music when he was 20. This ignited his passion for darkpsy, experimental psycore, and slambient tunes, especially enjoying abstract soundscape ,dark atmospheres, heavy percussion, aggressive basslines and sounds inspired from religions —all creating his unique style in a dark, moody space.
Two years later, Heii and his friends started 'Zoohar gathering' where they focus on throwing underground parties featuring Darkpsy, Psycore, and experimental music in Hong Kong.
After moving to the UK in 2020, Heii discovered a community in London's Underground psychedelic scene. He continued 'Zoohar gathering' there, exploring fresh, inspiring psychedelic sounds from different places and sharing them with audiences across the UK.

Chak Mo'ol is a female DJ and producer project, based in Germany.
Supported by Abstract Sound Design & Nightmares420 Crew.
Working with music has been her dream since childhood. Owned the first DAW at about the age of 11, wishing to learn how to produce Techno.
With 14 it started getting darker, instruments became a big part of her life. 
Learning to play guitar, bass, keyboard, drums and guttural vocals - focusing on Black Metal.
With 16, she became passionate about the other musical underground and had the first DJ mixing experiences - inspired by sounds from Anomalistic Records.

Then, over a long time, there was no possibility and room to go on with her passion. That didn't make her stay silent, the desire to play and produce music grew bigger and bigger. 
About 11 years later, in 2022, this project was finally born.
Focusing on Dark, Psycore and Slambient - she wanted to create a room to compensate experiences and emotions.
Since then, powerful and hypnotic Dj-Sets have been performed at multiple events in and outdoor around Germany, representing amazing sounds from various inspiring artists worldwide.
Productions have been released on VA's from Hypnotic Records India, Ominous Macabre Crew & Friends, more will follow in 2024.
