METACORTEX DJ CONTEST WORLDWIDE 

We are looking for DJs to present our sound in different parts of the world! We want to expand our sound family by collaborating with like-minded artists! 
Maximum reposts and likes will enhance the artists chances of winning. We prioritize reposts first, and in case of a tie in likes, higher reposts will determine the winner. As listeners and voters you should also follow our Soundcloud Page and need to comment to the sets. After the public voting on soundcloud we will have last round with Metacortex main artists to select final winners. 
 
Our objective is not only to identify a single winner but to recognize talented artists from diverse countries. We aspire to select one outstanding artist from each participating country. We will identify a maximum of 7 artists based on higher reposts and likes but the final decision rests with Metacortex Records main artists.

Voting deadline: February 25, 2024. 
Winners will be announced on March 5, 2024.

Chak Mo'ol is a female DJ and producer project, based in Germany.
Supported by Abstract Sound Design & Nightmares420 Crew.
Working with music has been her dream since childhood. Owned the first DAW at about the age of 11, wishing to learn how to produce Techno.
With 14 it started getting darker, instruments became a big part of her life. 
Learning to play guitar, bass, keyboard, drums and guttural vocals - focusing on Black Metal.
With 16, she became passionate about the other musical underground and had the first DJ mixing experiences - inspired by sounds from Anomalistic Records.

Then, over a long time, there was no possibility and room to go on with her passion. That didn't make her stay silent, the desire to play and produce music grew bigger and bigger. 
About 11 years later, in 2022, this project was finally born.
Focusing on Dark, Psycore and Slambient - she wanted to create a room to compensate experiences and emotions.
Since then, powerful and hypnotic Dj-Sets have been performed at multiple events in and outdoor around Germany, representing amazing sounds from various inspiring artists worldwide.
Productions have been released on VA's from Hypnotic Records India, Ominous Macabre Crew & Friends, more will follow in 2024.

OKAGE is a versus project by two producer, Cindervomit from the United States and Maleficium from Japan. Their very first album called ‘demons’ comes out @ irOri Music.

Above, standing upon archaic towers scattered across a desert of ash, winged demons stared into the souls of seven, curious wizards. Their endless grins and ancient eyes painted the horizon as the conjurers continued their chant, a legendary summoning of a powerful entity only known to mortals as “Okage”. The mystics swayed back and forth in unison, ripping apart the fragments of reality to invite an outer-dimensional being into their world. The earth shook as the dunes beneath their robes split open with a frightful glow, and time itself bowed down to the ominous presence laid before them. Like a violent thunderstorm, the lord laughed towards the red sky whilst stretching its arms into the dusty air, a gesture of thanks for ending its infinite slumber. The strange cult cheered and prayed before their god, preparing themselves for an incredible journey into the unknown… and you’re invited.
Okage is the psychedelic experimental project of USA’s very own CinderVOMIT and the beast from the far east, Maleficium. Together these artists create a labyrinth of atmosphere and sound design for the listener to try and find their way out of. Toxic jungle is about the petrochemical age of humans. With petrochemical industry and capital we create and produce a lot of un recyclable materials that mix with our earth. Nowadays you can find plastics, micro-plastics in the nature, in the forests, in the oceans, inside the animals and plants, as well as chemicals in the sea and the air. If we don’t stop producing such kind of materials, many animals and plants will die and our water and air and earth will suffer grave consequences. We will either evaporate or mutate in the ages to come with this defected life style offered to us by the petrochemical capital and industry. This album is to remind us that our earth is precious and fragile. There has always been infinite power and the circle of life in this planet, until one of the species, i.e. humans, gained the power to destroy everything.
Nowadays we are terribly worried about the human race with the epidemic of the corona virus. But we still cannot see that if we do not stop using this system we are living in, we will become the biggest and the most hazardous virus for this planet! We are growing in number each year unconsciously. Now there are more than 7 billion people living on this planet abiding the rules of this wrong and unfair system. People are dying each day by the thousands due to hunger and people killing each other for stupid reasons. A lot of animal species have become and are becoming extinct because of our unnatural system.
We need to start rethinking about our life styles and the system, and about the precious time and planet we are wasting and destroying with our sad, pathetic and unsatisfied lives.
