Metaeaux rhymes with meadow. 

A portmanteau of the words "meta" and "portmanteaux", the form of the word hints at the idea of strange loops and tangled hierarchies -- the underlying mechanisms of mind. 

The aesthetic of the word is intended to match the aesthetic of the music -- A digital meadow of synthetic and organic elements. 

Field recording, digital processing, analogue warmth and a sense of journey are important aspects of metaeaux. 

But what is the journey? 

Metaeaux is a sincere attempt to give a voice to the feeling of infatuation; to cherish nostalgia; to explore memories, minds and hearts; to remember what made childhood fun; to imagine what the future holds; to live with awe, wonder and appreciation for sacred experience of existence; and to explore the wonders of outer space and yet never forget the beautiful creatures and comfort on the organic spaceship we call Earth -- 

Our humble home in a vast universe. 

The journey is life.
