It is time for another batch of new music and November has another debut on the label. This is a trio that are behind the "Digital Framework Ep" and they go by the name of 107. 

Formed in 2017, Drum and Bass trio ‘107’ is the product of the combined efforts of Wil Tindall (A K A), Lewis Phillips (Kook) and Lucas Bromfield (Torpor), who aim to emulate and expand on the deeper, darker sides of the genre. While their first single “Curse” was featured on Noisia Radio, the group took a brief hiatus to work on solo projects and hone their craft. 

107’s full debut release entitled “Cijfer EP” is relatively recent and it was signed to Onyx. Their next release is composed by the tracks "Microdot", "Geostation", "Mistrust" and "Curse" and it will be available for purchase on the 5th of November!

Metalheadz and Grey Code are proud to announce 'Renewal', the debut Grey Code album set to be released in January 2022 which follows up from the UK producer's seminal EPs ‘Reprieve’ and ‘Helios’, as well as a critically acclaimed remix for Goldie’s ‘The Mirrored River’ and Beatport No.1 collaboration ‘Call In Me’ alongside Phase.

With a huge package of new music ready to be revealed to a fan base that has grown around Grey Code's deep, soulful and intricately woven rhythms, he’s once again set an enviable standard. The album positions itself perfectly within the back catalogue of Metalheadz, with the South coast born producer now an imperative part of the roster.

‘Renewal’ marks a continuation in Grey Code’s journey, one which has enabled him to tour internationally, from Austria to Japan, as well as everywhere in between. Flexing the razor-sharp production skillset which he’s become renowned for, ‘Renewal’ is another example of the young producer’s value. It’s a fully immersive album from start to finish, including the sounds of ‘Prima’ setting the pace whilst ‘Voyage XIII’, ‘Eternal Garden’ and ‘Quantified Self’ follow suit. Meanwhile, ‘Actress’ and ‘Miserere’ deliver the darker hues whereas ‘Lone’, ‘Birth’ and ‘Nowhere Ever’ take you back into Grey Code’s more emotive musical landscapes.

Finishing the album are selections ‘MANTA’, with its euphoric levels, and ‘Primrose’ with its old-school breaks, alongside ‘Illiad’ which nods to its namesake through being sonically epic. About Aaron Payne 
From mixtapes, to all aged raves, to buying records, since getting behind the decks in 2008 Payne has shared the stage with the likes of Andy C, DJ Hype, Matrix & Futurebound, Dimension, Fred V & Grafix, Metrik, Nu:Tone, Breakage, Delta Heavy, Culture Shock, DJ Hazard, TC, Ownglow, 1991, Phibes, Ray Keith, Mob Tactics, Benny Page, Ed Solo, Deekline, Harry Shotta and more.

The next chapter started in 2014 when he started promoting as DNA Selections alongside a good friend, bringing international talents such as Rockwell, Voltage, Saxxon, Stickybuds, DJ Craze, and The Freestylers.

In 2015 he moved to Vancouver with the skills, library, passion and personality to effortlessly find his place in the local scene. First playing shows for Digital Motion, SHAHdjs, Future Soul and Whistler Junglists, then starting a company with his good friend Jay Roy as 170+ Productions. With a year under their belt, 170+ has become a house hold name in the local Drum & Bass scene, whilst breaking into the international market by booking RoyGreen & Protone, Mob Tactics, Ray Keith & Redeyes.

Payne has become a respected player in both Canada's East and West, with an appreciation of Drum and Bass's full range of sounds and the genuine love it takes to persevere and play to any crowd and any moment.

About Frank H. Carter III 

Frank H. Carter III is a American singer, songwriter and recording artist born and raised in Norfolk, VA. His music is kind of hard to describe because he does a bit of everything: Soul/R&B, House Music, Rock (hard or otherwise), EDM, Reggae and Drum & Bass. It's kind of why his friend, Anthony Dixon, nicknamed him 'Mr Everything'. His personal influences range from Luther Vandross  and Donny Hathaway to Elvis Costello and Steve Perry.
