Nitri follows up a slew of releases across V's family of labels with his debut EP on V itself and it’s been a long time coming! Having originally worked with Bryan Gee back in 2012 on Chronic's Big Bad & Heavy compilation series Nitri has been putting in the work, which has seen him release on Metalheadz, Viper, Horizons Music and many more. 

On the Metamorphoses EP his talent for shapeshifting is ever present as he explores the dancefloor sounds with the vocal support of the legends MC Fats on 'Vision', and the first lady of Roni Size's Reprazent collective, and one of the iconic voices of D&B, Onalee, on title track 'Metamorphoses'. 'Deep' sees Nitri team up with fellow Sao Paulo resident and regular contributor to Liquid V Andrezz for a liquid workout and on 'Turn It Around' Nitri goes solo with some experimental dancefloor vibes. 

With a style and sound that is constantly shifting, changing and evolving, it does not fit easily into any of the sub genres placed upon music today. Simply, it is deep drum & bass from his heart, straight to the dancefloor.

Quartz is a guy we’ve been waiting to unleash, and we’re now delighted to be able to show the world what he’s been painstakingly putting together over the last few years. 

The ‘Hall Of Mirrors EP’ features an epic 6 tracks in total; 3 on vinyl with appearances from Survey and Gremlinz and 3 further digital bonuses. The EP highlights a variety of contrasting sounds and ideas, from the ruggedness of the title track to the celestial nature of ‘End Title’, and not forgetting the onslaught of bleeps and bass that is ‘Oblong Druid’. 

This is a very accomplished body of music for a first solo EP, with Quartz impressing in more ways than one and leaving you desperate for more.

As part of the original V Recordings family, we're really excited to welcome Suv back on to the label for his first release with us since 2003's 'Drum & Bass Fiesta' project. As part of the V, Reprazent, Full Cycle, Dope Dragon and Playside Recordings camps Suv has always forged his own path within D&B. Experimentation has always been at the core of his musical journey and, over the years he has been behind some of the freshest and most forward-thinking music this genre has to offer. Collaborations have also always been a big of feature of his work, notching up releases with Die, Patife, MC Tali, Jaxx and now on this brand new track, US based producer KC. KC has previously released on Natty Dub and Silvers' Nemesis imprints and makes his first appearance on V with this release.

'Deny' is a bubbly, peak time D&B roller, packed full of that original Bristol funk, with vocalist Paul Charles giving a soulful, indie tinged vocal performance. As well as this fast-rising Brazilian star L-Side gives his twist on the original with a slightly harder-edged dancefloor workout and links V family past, present and future all into one huge release!
