In a world where every word holds consequences and every silence bears weight, the latter cannot be a privilege. As the world witnesses the horrors of war and its devastating impact on innocent lives, it's imperative to raise our voices against injustice wherever it occurs. Carlos, influenced by the dark minimal synth, synthpunk, and gothic music scenes, developed his own style, seeking modern fusions of industrial/EBM and other contemporary electronic music genres. He has performed at major European dark underground festivals such as Ombra Festival, Krake Festival, Wave Gotik Treffen, Burning Man, Waveteef, Gothic Pogo Festival, Decadence, among many others.

In 2018, in collaboration with German singer Petra Flurr and under the name 89s†, they released their debut album titled "Monotone Zone". The same year, they embarked on their first European and American tour, playing at large festivals and important clubs. In 2021, they published their second album "Trübe Stadt" on Oraculo Records and joined the lineup of Ombra Festival artists.

In 2022, Carlos took a significant step in his career by establishing his own record label, "Miseria". This move likely signifies his desire to further contribute to the music scene and promote artists in his genre.

Disappearer's fourth META MOTO solo artist tape showcases a fluidity between electronic sounds and genres, characterised by a deliberate elusiveness. Oscillating between eerie atmospheres and funky beats, the artist constructs an enigmatic sonic landscape, evoking a sense of hiding in the shadows while emitting smoke screens. From electro to techno and breakbeat, the eight-track album titled "Counterfeit" is set for release on March 29th, available on both tape and digital platforms.

Recorded and produced by Johan Skugge, half of Harlem (Veyl, Body Musick), the album originates from Palermo, Italy. Skugge, also recognised for his release on Clan Destine Records from Glasgow, UK, brings his distinct sound to "Counterfeit." With its electrifying compositions, this album promises to captivate audiences with its bold electronic aesthetic.

His cryptically titled “Steel Shimmering Viper Squid” EP under the new XHIB moniker modulates between a loosely club oriented amalgamation of industrial and minimal wave influences laid out over hammering rhythms and scorched shrieks. MM PREMIERES are meant to transcend the ordinary and immerse themselves in the sacred realm of music, beholding the unseen and embracing the new melodic tapestry even before it unveils itself to the world.


Today's Meta Moto premiere features 'Svezia Inferno,' a creation of the eclectic electronic producer Johan Gustafsson, who founded it in 2016 in Bordeaux after his tenure with the synth-punk band Black Bug. Hailing from Sweden, Gustafsson now calls Torino, Italy home. This upcoming release, set for April 24th, will be available on tape, CD, and digital formats through the label La Società Del Malessere.

The centerpiece of this release, 'La Caccia,' is one of two tracks on an EP. Gustafsson crafted it using a blend of synth samples, original recordings, and ambient sounds sourced from Torino. Inspired by the unsettling presence of a doomsday preacher whose amplified sermons echo through a nearby flea market, both tracks delve into the eerie atmosphere. The preacher's ominous messages, mingled with the surrounding voices and the rhythmic beats of ritualistic drums, provide the thematic backdrop for this haunting musical journey.
