Originally from the south of Spain, but now based in London, Mara Mortem enjoys playing lesser-known tunes in a mix of languages within the Minimal Wave, Synthpunk, Cold & Dark wave, Old School EBM, Retrowave, Italo and Dark Electro genres.

Mara is a resident DJ and co-organiser of the Reformation Club in London. Reformation puts together monthly club nights as well as gigs with the mantra "Reforming yesterday's darkwave for tomorrow..." They showcase musicians in the underground music scene of the multiple weird waves.

Andrii, the visionary behind the project Revolt, hails from Lviv, Ukraine, and is now based in Warsaw. As a resident of Zabuttya, he has graced the stages of renowned festivals such as Strichka and Black Factory, establishing a unique presence of body music in the electronic music scene.
Revolt's style is typified by an audacious absorption and fusion of EBM, post-punk & techno influences, drawing from the deep, dark wells of electronic music's most intense subgenres. Andrii's releases on SYNTHICIDE, Bloody Electronics, and Khoinix push the fundamentals of EBM to the melancholic side.

Another one from 2008 and the craziest thing I have ever produced to date as it was so out of my bounds. I took up on the challenge to create an absolute ridiculous mix that would stick out of the bunch.

"‘Little Boy’s Big Chevy’ is a track that I’ve produced in 2006 and it has since then always been a favorite of mine (not because of the production qualities but more for the characteristic feel it has). The original is an atmospheric breaks track (featured on my ‘Departures EP’ which was released on www.beatsfactory.com). I picked this track to be remixed because it contains a lot of different sounds which makes it possible to remix it in various genres, and I am very curious what people can do with it. I am hoping to hear remixes which still have a clear relation to the original, while exploring new directions too and which give the original a more ‘now’ sound.  I enjoy listening to many genres so surprise me by transforming it into the style your most comfortable working in."

I don't know what genre my remix is but it sure must have been surprising...
