Today, The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Tanzkarte. "Seduction" comes off the second part of the massive 17-tracks Disturbance VA on Paris/Toulouse/Berlin based label The Techno's Children, alongside such artists as CLTX, Illiya Korniyenko, CYNKT and many more.

Disturbance VA is dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the label and this time The Techno's Children take you on a journey of diverse quality selection of sounds and universes from artists with different backgrounds through industrial, rave and acid techno vibes. "Seduction" is a melodic and trancy composition with fast and groovy kick, that closes the VA.

OUR LADY OF THE FLOWERS “HOLIDAY IN THULE”
A new chapter of quantum music, painted with tibetan-gong feedback, field-recordings, homemade electronic devices, and low-fidelity 1980’s digital-sampling technology. Source-material recorded with a cheap handheld digital recorder (Olympus WS-853), then resampled / arranged / edited at Lighthouse Beach in Port Huron Michigan during middle-of-the-night sessions between August 2016 - September 2018. 
Our Lady of the Flowers is a collective of friends living near the Lake Huron coastline, who produce spiritually-relevant music. Autumnal soundworlds for energy-channeling, healing, quantum-field exploration, and night prayers. Rod Modell (sampling / editing), Kevin Dunham (electronics), Jeri Frantz (keyboards), Erinn Pegan (vocals), Jay Buckets (guitars), Warren Doss (guitars). in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. 
 Note: vinyl version of this release is 40 minutes in length (20 minutes per side), and CD version features some extra material and clocks in at 60 minutes. Also, vinyl contains a slightly different version of “Sites of the Sacred Feminine” than on the CD version.

HOLIDAY IN THULE will be published in CD (ltd.333 copies) and LP (ltd.222 copies) + photographic booklet on 13/silentes in November 2018.

Through a series of consistent releases on the likes of Voyage, Cabinet, Secretsundaze and his own @smallhoursberlin and The Brane imprint, Berlin-based Youandewan has built up a respected reputation for his deep, delicate yet propulsive take on the house sound.

As a DJ, his record bag is stuffed with a host of influences that seep into his productions: from UK tech house, tender deep house and minimal sounds. Currently Berlin-based, he’s matured his selective style with in-demand appearances at institutions worldwide.

In compiling a remix 12” for the most recent Homemade Weapons LP - Gravity, we approached 2 titans of underground electronic music who have both been supportive of Homemade Weapons and Samurai Music. Donato Dozzy and Tommy Four Seven have each been utilising our releases in their sets and we have been inspired and grateful for their fearless deployment of drum and bass to their predominately Techno audiences.

No stylistic directive or requests were given. We trusted these two gifted artists to interpret the music in their own unique fashion, but in all honesty expected remixes around the techno tempo. What we received back are 2 landmark drum and bass versions that re-define the nexus between Drum and Bass and Techno.

New York's DJ Voices is drawn towards the unexpected. We spoke at a Japanese restaurant in Dublin (where she'd later play to a crowd of Halloween revellers and well-dressed 20-somethings), and she pointedly said that she would play a whole set of up-tempo tracks slowed down using the CDJ's wide function (which can slow or speed up the track as much as 100%). It's a tactic she makes use of at several points during her Truancy Volume, which manages to feel both like a club set and a soundtrack mix made just with you, the listener, in mind. Having recently watched a lengthy interview with DJ Voices conducted by Willie Burns for his Talk Radio series, we opted against rehashing her total backstory here. Instead, we talked about her current European tour, her work as booker for New York club Nowadays, her goals as a DJ and the music in her record bag.
