German artist Ole Sturm steps up to Metaphysical with a remix of Sailor & I's 'Thinking About You' from his last album. 

Sturm has written and produced songs for artists like Steve Aoki, Moguai, Pretty Pink and Aka Aka in the past but now focuses on his own work. He has a widescreen sound that takes in influences from neuro-d&b, trance-like melodies and grooves from tech house. Add in his heavy bass and you have an artist with his own unique sound. 

And that's the case here on a supremely uplifting and summery remix. It has happy piano chords and the emotive vocal soars to the heavens. Vast rubbery kicks and warm bass add up to an irresistible groove and it's not hard to see this one making a huge impact at festivals all over the world this summer. The remix is accompanied by the still excellent original version for anyeon who missed it first time around. 

This superb remix shows off Ole Sturm's sounds in fine style.

Marco Tegui has put together the upcoming Kindisch Stories compilation featuring a wealth of his own new tracks and remixes, but before it arrives in August he serves up two of its standout singles.

Tegui hails from Peru but has been a core part of the European scene for over a decade. He was A&R for the iconic Berlin label Bar25 and sister label Sirin Music from 2018 to 2021 when he started his own DowntempoLove. He has also released on Get Physical, Stil Vor Talent and many more labels and is a skilled musician who has a live show which feeds into the way he makes his music - always with rich harmonies and lush melodies.

The superb 'Clarão de Lua' is a slow and steamy trip to South America, with bird calls in the distance, gorgeous acoustic strings and a feeling of jungle humidity amongst the rolling beats. 'Danzar' is another sublime and exotic sound with warm, rubbery beats and organic percussion next to beautiful strings. It's a cultured deep house sound unlike anything else out there.

This is a great primer for the much-anticipated collection to come in August.
