Het is 11-11 geweest, dat betekent dat het carnavalsseizoen weer geopend is! 
In heel Brabant en Limburg betekent dit voor de fervente carnavalsvierders dat er toegewerkt wordt naar het hoogtepunt halfweg februari 2023, een week lang CARNAVAL!
Jaarlijks komen er tientallen nieuwe carnavalsnummers uit die door menig huiskamer, kroeg of evenement afgespeeld worden.
Eén van deze carnavalsnummers komt dit jaar uit de regio van Oss.
Dj Menno uit Krullendonk (Heesch) heeft samen met carnavalsvereniging Los Zand uit het Ossenkoppenrijk (Oss) de handen in een geslagen om het carnavalsnummer D’n Bouwmanbal in een nieuw jasje te steken.
DJ Menno is een allround DJ die op zowel vele nationale als internationale evenementen heeft gestaan en menig kroeg en festival op zijn kop heeft weten te zetten. Daarnaast is hij in 2023 verkozen tot Populairste Party DJ van Nederland.
De Osse carnavalsvereniging Los Zand neemt vanaf het jaar 2000 jaarlijks deel aan het Maaslands Carnavals liedjes Festival waarbij ze samen met feestkapel Vrûg Ligt in 2005 het Liedjesfestival wonnen met het nummer D’n Bouwmanbal. Dit bleek een groot succes te zijn omdat ze hiermee ook het Brabantse Knotskrakersfestival wonnen!
