Chemise-She Can't Love You

Dear participant,

yet another lover, not unknown to Ramona, enters the sacred halls of light again. 

Massimiliano Pagliara, originally from Lecce (Italy), now Berliner of choice, orchestrator of a warm basseline-sound accompanied with sleek beats – due to a deep love to all sorts of vintage drum machines and synthesizers – takes Ramona on a journey through the colorful depths of his new album 'With One Another' – follow-up of his first ever album 'Focus Of Infinity', released in 2011.

'With One Another' shares the joy of Massimiliano's trademark sound influenced by underground-sound of the 80s; new wave, boogie, italo, acid and 90s deep-house. Starting from this point, he took a hand full of close friends along with him on a ride through his musical garden – reaching from italo-induced disco-smashers over to acid dripping floor fillers to charming proto-house. Connoisseurs and pleasure-makers like the mysterious Norwegian producer Telephones, primary rock and guru nd_baumecker, half of the Egyptian Nipples and close friend Jules Etienne, manhooking Mavin, dance-music-afficionado Lee Douglas, Credit 00 of Uncanny valley fame and Ramona's darling Benedikt Frey contributed their devotion to sound to this bright piece of music. Ramona is as pleased as pleasure could only reach – all good things come in larger numbers!

The album is set to be released on vinyl and digital on Monday, 15th September.

A man of immense production talent, Alexander Shtanoprud has performed a collage of audio mastery through his Mondkrater production pseudonym. Now returning to Proton Music, we are extremely proud to see Mondkrater and his "Icarus" EP takes flight.

As part of the successful duo Mode B, Mondkrater saw his work allied closely to Ryan Davis' Back Home and Klangwelt imprints while Particles also found home to the pair's work through the incomparable, "Siebte".

Branching out on his own through his Mondkrater name, the "lunar crater" definition is an apposite description of his work: "the mood of composition" and "the depth of sound". A burgeoning talent as a solo artist, Mondkrater's growing body of work has been allied to some of the finest underground techno imprints. Klangwelt and Traumwelten have been firm supporters with both the "Siberia" and "Roter Planet" twin-track EPs, while support has risen from such celebrated corners as Stephan Bodzin, Dominik Eulberg and Jimmy Van M.

May 2015's "Mercury" EP marked Mondkrater's debut original EP for Proton Music after a hugely successful remix of Silinder earlier in the year. As "Mercury" rose to new heights and pushed the Mondkrater name further into the limelight, the Polish producer now returns to Proton with a brand new three-track EP with his unique and polished sound firmly to the fore in a musical mosaic of rare quality driven by an unmistakeable Moog sound.

The title track itself opens proceedings in a musical triptych tied together through musical thread. A thick driving beat keeps metronomic time with ticking hats offering a subtle sense of urgency. Melodic phrases coruscate effortlessly as "Icarus" evolves, ultimately transcending into a new direction through repetitive riff that provides a hook to keep DJs and dance floors fully satisfied.

A beautifully shimmering arpeggio lies at the heart of "Phobia", filtering delicately into full view, surrounded by framework of relentless techno rhythms that provide a perfect accompaniment. Throbbing and pulsating analogue pads rasp enticingly across the stereo spectrum in LFO synchronicity in a track that oozes quality and production talent.

Final track, "Caliber", conjures up the exquisite melodic themes of its predecessor while a delayed bell riff provides a moment of syncopated joy as it plays with the space it creates in intelligent fashion. An acetylene-edged lead supplies a richly textured free-form melody in the second and third movements to create a work that fits expertly into the bed of 808-led rhythms and percussive joy.

Rising high with wings spread in full flight, there is little danger that Mondkrater will melt away as he takes to the sky with "Icarus".

Four months after SHAKE 001, Mahogani's Dan Shake returns with his second edits release. The EP showcases two infectiously dance-y gems that have already received support from the likes of Daphni, Gilles Peterson and Soul Clap – an unsurprisingly warm response, given that it's Mr. Shake. To us, "Northern Merry" was the no-bainer. The synthesised organ's blues chords of the Mo-town intro plunges you straight in the deep end, with the 4x4 tempo picking straight up before you know it. An instant smile-on-face putter from one of the UK's fastest rising groove-makers.

Originally finding itself allied to Proton Music in September 2015, Mondkrater's "Icarus" showcased the Ukrainian's inspiring melodic techno with a three-track offering that was evocative and spellbinding in equal measures. Now, finding itself on sister label, Particles, "Icarus" returns with a pair of remixes from two label debutants.

Inspired by such icons as Stephan Bodzin and Maxime Dangles, French producer, Theo Vicente, has risen to impressive prominence since a 2010 debut for D.E.N.S. Records aged 20. A regular at clubs across his Montpellier hometown on the Cote d'Azur, a performance at Module Club, Tokyo in 2012 launched Teho into the global spotlight as additional performances in the Netherlands, UK and Belgium, alongside such heavyweights as Fairmont, Ryan Davis and Microtrauma, raised his profile further still.

A regular on the Parquet, Inlab and Manual Music imprints, the distinctive Teho sound has captured the hearts and minds of an impressive fan base as original productions including the "ClichÃ©/Union" and "Uku" EPs vie for attention against a host of remixes for artists including Logiztik Sounds, Oovation and Unique Repeat. Now debuting on Particles, the Teho remix of "Phobia" is a typically rich offering that revels in gloriously textured analogue sounds and pulsating emotive melodies that pay rich tribute to Mondkrater's original while extending its milieu further with a slew of additional melodic production material in a work of high quality.

With the desire to convey emotion through music, Indieveed represents a new breed of Ukrainian artists who create their own individual sound through experimentation and "lateral thinking". A relative newcomer to the underground dance scene, Indieveed's inspiring brand of modern techno has found favour with a host of impressive imprints from Inlab and Klangwelt to Fever and MNL. Furthermore, the July 2015 track "Cloudland" found itself on to the heavyweight "Tour de Traum X" compilation album mixed by Riley Reinhold with a cast that also included Dominik Eulberg and Microtrauma.

Finding his way to Particles via his remix of the title track itself, the Indieveed remix of "Icarus" takes the twisted melodic themes central to the Mondkrater's original and places them in a new contextual framework that glistens with smooth bass line that evolves into rasping, analogue groove post-breakdown. The addition of accompanying velvet percussive rhythms and dominant beat ensure that the Indieveed remix is sure to find favour with many.

Still shooting for the sun, "Icarus" continues to fly high with new remixes from Teho and Indieveed.

It's been tipped as the breakthrough track of Dutch newcomer duo Cubicolor. 'Falling' will be released as a single from the upcoming debut album due on Anjunadeep. The single is supported with a hefty remix to up the buzz, by none other than KOMPAKT contributor Robag Wruhme. “Falling” also features London based Tim Digby-Bell, one of the founding members of the experimental-indie band Duologue.

Falling EP will be released on the 25th of January on Fayer.
