RumpStep is the love child of Joe Chisari, Ryan Meaker, and Brandon Dann. Based originally in Syracuse, New York, the three friends all shared a strong passion for creating music. Years of toying around with a mix of production software from Reason to Ableton Live led to the idea of a trio in mid 2013. Four years later, Joe and Ryan continue to push the notion that skull splitting bass-music can also be laced with a sense of humor.

Now split between Syracuse and Orlando, Florida, their creative output hasn’t slowed. RumpStep has gone from playing alongside some of the most notable names electronic music has to offer like Rusko, Dillon Francis, Borgore, and Barely Alive; to hosting their own event in some of both Syracuse and Orlando’s most popular venues. Having releases on labels such as Buygore, Riddim Network and Primal Records, their back to back style of production both on stage and in studio has established the raw, in your face bass mixed with comedic flair they’re known for.
