Sangoma Records presents “Quantum Mind” the debut album of Babagoon from Brazil. The Babagoon project reflects his edgier side of psychedelia – a powerful twisted combination of atmospheric foresty sounds, tribal percussions and deep mighty mesmerizing groove. Babagoon will be the first release of a new “psychedelic Brazilian school” we want to introduce – it represents a very lysergic visionary sound, that tastes like earth, and smells like the jungle; enriched and inspired by indigenous shamanic themes, which are native in the diverse culture of both urban and rural Brazil. A true glimpse of the countries’ spirit - far away from common eurocentristic ideas and stereotypes like carnival, waxing and bikinis.

Babagoon is the project of Gustavo Jeker from Brazil. He is also known for his project “ Space Vision” and released his debut album on the Japan based label Grasshopper in 2012. The Babagoon project reflects his more edgier side of psychedelia – a powerful twisted combination of atmospheric foresty sounds, tribal percussions and deep mighty mesmerizing basslines. His sounds are mostly created through the use of synthesizers, adding a significant psychedelic atmosphere to his music and evoking a feeling of continuous space images and floating sensations to the listener. He joined Sangoma Records in 2014 where he released his debut album “Quantum mind” in 2015.

He discovered the entrancing psychedelic world in early 2000s and since then he was totally hooked,

Luis has dedicated years to music production and the psytrance scene, 
delivering captivating performances and livesets throughout the years.
His music is characterized by its dark intensity, groovy rhythms, and melodic soundscapes.
 Following the releasing of several EPs and tracks featured on various compilations, 
his anticipated debut album was   released  by  OrganiK Circus Records.
