After a two-year hiatus since his last appearance on EXTIMA with the acclaimed Excuse Me EP and his contribution to OZBEK's massive OZBEK & Friends album, Turkish producer Mehmet Akar returns to the label with his striking new work, "Hireath" EP — a testament to his meticulous production style and deep musical identity.

Renowned for his progressive and melodic roots, Akar takes a bold step into peak-time techno territory, merging emotional soundscapes with driving intensity. The title track "Hireath" embodies a haunting sense of longing and cinematic tension, built through hypnotic repetition and subtle evolution — a masterclass in storytelling through sound.
