We are honored to welcome the legendary Ken Ishii to #Metodiq with the furious "Tilt Anomaly", which boasts discordant riffing that leads to psychotic territory via a no-nonsense arrangement. 
Label boss MAAE stomps it out in his rendition while adding menacing electronics, and the Drumcomplex & Roel Salemink remix offers a more subliminal view that focuses on the grinding rhythm section and persistent synths. Definitely brilliant EP ready to rock the dance floor!

Shlomi Aber makes his debut on Drumcode Ltd with a piercing four-tracker for the vinyl only offshoot.

Israel’s Shlomi Aber remains of techno’s most consistent artists, with a career stretching back 15 years. The label boss of Be As One, Aber has also had his music released on such imprints as R&S, Figure and Ovum, reinforcing his status as a purveyor of classy yet impactful techno. 

His contribution to Drumcode Ltd puts a fresh take on the classic pounding DC sound of the label’s early years, an era the DJ/producer has long been a fan of. Beginning with ‘Inflict’, the EP lays down its heavy-hitting intentions from the onset, as a persistent muffled vocal build beneath a bed of steely percussion, creating a dark tension-filled atmosphere. ‘Accelerator’ follows, the title track that was quite literally born at Basel’s own techno temple Nordstern this year when Aber crafted it into a stunning cavernous beast, using his 909 and XOXBOX Acid machine. ‘Typeface’ is stripped back and functional, an energy-packed tool for building extended techno journeys. The four-piece is rounded out by the fantastic ‘Rain Storm’, that lowers the intensity, as the six-minute cut introduces a new groovier element to the work and concludes the EP is sharp fashion.

Up and coming techno duo GNTN is back with their new single „Saturn“, a club-orientated still melodic composition, which once more proves that GNTN is about to establish there own brand in music.

Out now on the German-based Moonbootique Records, „Saturn“ is available to purchase via all digital retailers.

The track is a departure from GNTN’s last single & new signature sound and proves the guy’s ability to adapt their signature sound while maintaining their output of hi-definition sound spaces. The track itself is a quite melodic, but still driving and energetic affair, with a resonating sub bass, kept aloft a catchy top melody and driving percussion. Armed with an undeniable groove, Saturn is yet another demonstration of GNTN’s aptitude for remaining sync with their audience.

GNTN’s productions are gaining more and more recognition in the international techno scene. International performances at venues like Egg London, WesterUnie Amsterdam or festivals like Parookaville make them stand out as one of the most promising duos’s in the techno scene.
