I am an artist and experimental musician. I will be posting my tangents of music that I think are interesting. They represent part of the musical creation but are not necessarily completed works. 

I am interested in creating cacophonous, dissident, and, glitchy music. I want there to be a broken down quality to it, where tempo, musical progression, and harmony are less structured and sometimes barely coherent in the work. I work with only physical musical instruments and only have digital sound present from manipulations of these sounds. I construct many of my own experimental instruments for this very purpose and am interested in digital like sound from a physical instrument.

Coming from hardcore punk roots, Naing Naing has been developing since 1999 an unique type of musique concrète which has no historical connection with traditional electro-acoustic music : Naing Naing draws his eclectic influences from various types of experimental rock, traditional asian music, hardcore punk, Electronica and even classical music.

Naing Naing is noted for creating whole tracks out of a single source of sound such as frogs, insects, ice cubes in a glass, toothbrushing, washing machine and so on... (Those sounds are turn into catchy drums, bass lines and melodies).

His studio albums are based upon custom microscopic digital sound edition while his live performances just rely on MIDI guitar or finger pads triggering samples.

Naing Naing is the pseudonyme of François L'Homer, formerly guitarist of  Heimat-los (french hardcore pioneers) and Tear of a Doll (hardcore / experimental punk / post hardcore).
