Since the beginning of time people have tried to explain what occurs on the darkside of the moon. Neil Armstrong was sent to find out but could not fully understand, Pink Floyd evangelized their interpretation of it following their secret space mission and since then no man has dared to venture back...

For one, however, it was the other way around: caught in a cosmic paradox Atelier Francesco, longed to grace grounds of a planetary place - somewhere oxygenated, somewhere gravitationally unchallenged, somewhere with dancefloors he could invade.

Atelier began, in the depths of darkness, to emulate... to craft the vibrations and sounds of our distant planet, constructing and remixing shards, shrapnel and shooting stars with his instruments made from meteors, debris and dust. With only a vacuum of non-existent echoes as his audience for his neurological approach to music, Atelier decided to master the dark and moody grooves of earth. Atelier created his own unique live act, one that he tailored for planet earth. Sawing, moulding and giving a new purpose to earthly objects. We wait with baited breath to witness it..

Atelier's next mission is to delve deeper into the earth's crust, with his ammunition ready to launch...Two interstellar EPs, "Akaino" forthcoming on BOSO and ‘Dead End’ on Cityfox.

Playdate New York's Terron Darby has been an incredible force behind the scenes, in the studio, and on the decks for nearly two decades. Darby has designed professional high end studios for an esteemed list of performers and organizations that include everything from Moby to Vice Media, HBO, and NASA among others. He is also one of the original Avid instructors for their education department and has also taught aspiring musicians of all flavors at Full Sail University. It's special to have someone who has contributed so much to the growth of other eager musicians take the reign themselves. Currently, Darby has set in motion a mysterious new vinyl imprint that's a unique ode to the relationship between music and art. This label will reflect how layer after layer, Darby's music constructs a warm, intelligent vibe filled with rich-brimming strings and beautiful swelling bass lines that articulate what creating and spinning deeper shades of house music is all about. I produced a Public Service Announcement intro track in preparation for my DJ set at House of Yes' sexy party: House Of Love. Every time I DJ and hear my friends complain about how grabby, pushy or disrespectful people were I wish I could have a track, in the form of a friendly and funny public service announcement to remind people (and hopefully educate many) about how to interact, engage and party in an appropriate and respectful way.

So here is the first one of the series. I will be releasing another version without the New York City Department of Dance Floor Safety part but instead simply Dance Floor Safety department so that people outside of NYC and beyond could use it. 

The hope is that promoters, DJ’s, nightclubs and anyone involved in nightlife could use this and play it at any moment to start to change people’s attitude and foster a better party environment.

And since I know how terrifying it could be to mix out of something like this, I made sure to include a smooth mix-out reverb with the longest of mother tails so that you can drop that beat right away and get the party started. Produced with love and consideration for all the DJ’s who have the desire to do things right but may worry about how to get back into the groove. ;)

"This is a message from the New York City Office of Dance Floor Safety, which has issued new guidelines for interacting with people in the club. Ladies and gentlemen, a crowded dance floor is no excuse for unwanted sexual contact. 

Remember, some people are here tonight just to dance and talk, even if they have the sexiest of sexy outfits on. 

No means no. 
Silence means no.
Yes means yes. 

Always ask before you touch, and get an enthusiastic yes or head nod and smile before continuing. If you need to get someone's attention and the music is loud, tapping them on the shoulder or arm is appropriate. 

Do NOT grab them by the arm, waist, chest, butt, legs, or face, unless you have previously gotten the OK. 

If you would like to dance with someone, do not sneak up behind them – approach from the front with a smile and introduce yourself. If they say no, don't worry! There are lots of other sexy people here that you can talk to. 

If you see someone who is too drunk to say yes, get them a glass of water and a seat, and find their friends to take them home. 

And if you feel unsafe or violated, please report it to a security officer. Stay alert, and have a safe and sexy night."

Naquela pistinha, pela primeira vez tive vontade de ser Dj.
Com os recentes acontecimentos pairando na cabeça, sentei outro dia com Jawan para tocar umas músicas num sótão para 10 pessoas que dançavam evitando bater a cabeça no teto. 
A combinação de house com indietronica, e até um techno, me transportou diretamente para a pista do Bolt, lembrando a mistura maluca de gêneros que fazia a gente gritar e pular uma noite inteira.
Infelizmente nnão tive oportunidade de tocar um baile no Bolt, mas na minha imaginação esse seria um set que eu colocaria no escurinho do segundo andar da Fernando Ferrari.
Obrigado ao Rike e sua turma por terem criado aquele espaço tão importante pra minha vida e a de muita gente.
