Damaged Productions is a forum where artists can connect with each other and share ideas. It was set up in Dec 2011 and continues to grow. The people behind the group are working hard to further grow the concept and more will develop out of this in the future.

Beat battles and a Rhyme competition called "The Rhymers Bench" have been established as a way for people to sharpen their skills and learn from each other. All people competing are using the same samples or topic , so it allows you to understand how one's perception of the same idea can be creatively manipulated into music.

Hailing from Sydney originally, Jess Starreveld (now Newcastle-based) is emerging as an artist recognised by her crisp vocals, warm instrumentation and resonating lyrics. Lead by her keys and vocals, her sound combines aspects of pop, soul, jazz, hip hop, and groove.

From the Hip Hop duo POETIC TRANSITION and 4TH WORLD..
Mezmerize always had a passion for writing and performing since a young age, 
but it wasn't till 2009 that she discovered that hip hop is where her heart was at.
Alongside fellow emcee Vivid, together known as Poetic Transition (Born 2009)
have worked hard over the years, and just released their WATCH THIS MOVEMENT MIXTAPE 
which is now available for free download on Sound Cloud. 
The girls have gone on to share the stage with some of the greats in the Aus Hip Hop scene such as
Funkoars, Dialectrix, Daily Meds, Tycotic, Kerser, Evil Eddie, Astronomy Class, Thundamentalz, 
and were lucky enough to score a spot last year for Rhyme Intervention in Canberra last year!
Mezmerize released her first solo project WICKED BUSINESS septmember 2011 and had her first solo performance
the year after supporting P.smurf in Newcastle, Mez is currently working on her 2nd solo project
which will be released later on in the year.
