We are glad to see the Canadian label support Australian music yet again, with this EP release of our good friend - Unknown Concept. Whilst Unknown Concept brings the drive and warmth to your ears with his originals, South Zone adds a tasteful, exuberant, psychedelic feel to it all, with tonal glitchy sound design and chug that'll unscrew a few of your nuts 'n' bolts for sure.

Le Son Du Placard - Le Satyre (Carbon Remix)

'Misunderstood' and 'Psilocin' are 2 track names that have become very recognisable to Damien Fisher, his productions and the noise they are making in today's scene.
'Misunderstood' was first featured by Richie Hawtin at TimeWarp25 and has received continued support, being featured in many of Hawtin's sets. Dark, groovy and percussive, typical of Damien's sound. This track features a minimal masterpiece remix by Malek Ales, a growing talent in both minimal and Techno. 
'Psilocin', the second original on this EP IS a track that takes you on a journey from beginning to end, holding the key elements of groove, mood and bass that captured Dubfire's attention in the Bridge_48 Studios competition in 2019!

Deadtime stories is the latest creation from Italian producer Egomorph. It continues in his trademark style telling dark and twisted stories inspired by horror movies with a psytech beat. His penchant for horror themes and dark atmosphere is prevalent in all of his music and most of his tracks are shaped and morphed from these origins. He finds the dark atmospheres he gravitates toward to create a balance between seductive and aggressive in the musical textures and melodies in his music. 

With this release, Egomorph was looking to focus on a more trendy modern minimal tech sound. He used more Moog synth sounds and less of his signature squelches/stabs but maintained his usual arrangement patterns. The EP is composed of two original tracks and five remixes. 

Out of the two original tracks, Biolapsus is more complex and dynamic, especially on the moody groove; where Deadtime Stories is more linear and melodic, with a strong kick and bassline. The remixers on the release include Electrypnose (Switzerland), Trilingo (Germany), Myad (USA), Zandre Van Zyl (South Africa), and Shadow Wulf label-boss Crescendoll.

Premiere: Egomorph "Biolapsus" - Shadow Wulf Records

M.E.Z.Z.L.E is born and raised in Mauritius. In 2006, 2007, he was influenced by deep & dark techno as well as progressive music and as time went by, he found himself drawn more than ever towards dark & minimal techno. In 2009, M.E.Z.Z.L.E started DJing and has played in the biggest clubs of Mauritius and is a must on the line-up for private techno events around the island. In 2010, he began experimenting with music composition and started working on his own techno productions. He was nominated for Hennessy Backstage Awards in 2017 for Best DJ. In 2018 he played at Athman Festival in Sri Lanka and also played in Goa, India over the same period. And now, M.E.Z.Z.L.E is one of the key DJs in the Mauritian underground, he is known for his precise and groovy dark & minimal techno sets, a style which the mauritian crowd eagerly looks for...
