DOMINION X ist der neue Synthesizer von MFB. Er verbindet die Vorteile von analoger Klangerzeugung, Speicherbarkeit und modularen Patchmöglichkeiten. Mit verbesserten Schaltungen, erweiterten Funktionen und im neuen Design ist DOMINION X das erste Gerät einer neuen MFB-Klasse.


DOMINIONs drei Oszillatoren bieten maximale Funktionalität. Jede Wellenform kann in der Symmetrie moduliert werden. Das heißt, es kann nicht nur die Pulsweite des Rechtecks, sondern auch Sägezahn zu Dreieck und Dreieck zu Sinus kontinuierlich verändert werden. Alle drei Oszillatoren verfügen über nachgeschaltete Ringmodulatoren und VCO 2 & 3 können zu VCO1 synchronisiert werden. Darüber hinaus können VCO 1 & 2 von VCO3 frequenzmoduliert werden. Eine prozessorgesteuerte Temperaturregelung garantiert eine hohe Stimmstabilität der analogen VCO-Schaltung.
Zu den VCOs lässt im Mixer weißes Rauschen oder eine externe Klangquelle hinzumischen.

Das Filter verfügt über sechs verschiedene Modi. Es gibt drei Tiefpässe mit 12, 18 und 24 dB, sowie einen Hochpass, einen Bandpass und eine Bandsperre mit jeweils 12 dB bzw. 6 dB Flankensteilheit. Das Filter kann mittels invertierbarer Hüllkurve, Keytracking, LFO, VCO, verschiedener MIDI-Controller und über den CV-Eingang mit externer Steuerspannung moduliert werden.

Die beiden ADSR-Hüllkurven sind dem VCF und dem VCA zugewiesen. Hüllkurve 1 kann jedoch auch die VCOs modulieren. Die LFOs 1 & 2 verfügen über sechs Wellenformen, inklusive Sample&Hold, und lassen sich in den One-Shot-Modus versetzen, womit sie zu Minihüllkurven werden. Ein dritter LFO, der über die Wellenform Sinus verfügt, kann im Zusammenspiel mit dem Modulationsrad eines Keyboards zur dynamischen Steuerung von VCOs, VCF und VCA genutzt werden.

Die Zuweisung der Modulatoren erfolgt über Selektoren, die neben den jeweiligen Zielen zu finden sind. Somit lassen sich die internen Modulationsverbindungen extrem schnell umstellen – ideal für den Live-Einsatz.
Für die Einbindung externer Modulations-, Steuer- und Audioquellen gibt es neun Eingänge, worüber sich Oszillatoren, Filter, VCA, CV/Gate und Mixer des DOMINION X mit anderen Analogsynthesizern wie z.B. dem MEGAZWERG, Analogsequenzern wie z.B. dem URZWERG PRO oder Modularsystemen verbinden lassen.
Ein Extra-Selektor erlaubt die Zuweisung von Velocity auf bis zu 11 verschiedene Modulationsziele.

DOMINION X verfügt über 128 Speicherplätze für eigene Soundkreationen. Zur Unterstützung beim Klangprogrammieren ohne angeschlossenes Keyboard gibt es verschiedene Demosequenzen. Für die Nutzung des DOMINION X als Filterbox über den Audioeingang lässt sich der VCA permanent öffnen. Über die hintere Insert-Buchse kann ein Effektgerät oder Verzerrerpedal in den Signalweg eingeschleift werden.

Wow. This feels like a dream, but it’s absolutely real. Souvenir, the label started in 2006 by brothers Ali & Basti Schwarz has reached triple digits. It is time to celebrate this landmark moment in true Tiefschwarz style with a massive 4x EP featuring a collection of brand new jams. Souvenir 100 is a confident musical portrayal into the sound of 2019 and beyond, featuring 12 freshly crafted cuts inspired by the 99 releases that have lead up to this exact time and space.

Found within the 100th release extravaganza is a snapshot of Souvenir Music proudly facing towards the future. A collected effort from the labels best past and present producers, and new friends just now joining the label. Release number 100 is not a throwback to their favorite past moments, but instead the perfect opportunity to move things toward a new sonic direction – further innovating the sounds celebrated on the dancefloor and enjoyed in the headphones alike. Souvenir 100 is a diverse and brilliant statement of modern electronic music, perfectly showcasing exactly where the label is headed to next.

Exclusive alert. We are delighted to have secured a rare mix from one of our favourite producers of last year. Scott Fraser makes up the revered group of producers that is Andrew Weatherall, Sean Johnston, Timothy Fairplay and Daniel Avery that share the same underground bunker studio in East London, affectionately calling themselves 'The Axis'. Scott's 'Life Of Silence' 12" on Weatherall's Bird Scarer imprint in our opinion was the best thing committed to vinyl in 2012, and his releases on World Unknown and Astro Lab are straight up killer. Here Scott has put together a two hour live mix which he promises contains lots of exclusives from the bunker personnel.
