This is a one take recording little piece using only, as main instrument, a Crumar Performer synthesizer. I am delighted with its limited but beautiful sounds. I used a Roland Space Echo, EHX 2880 and Count To Five Pedal.

~ About The Story ~

Everybody has a little bit of the sun and moon in them. Everybody has a little bit of man, woman, and animal in them. Darks and lights in them. Everyone is part of a connected cosmic system. Part earth and sea, wind and fire, with some salt and dust swimming in them. We have a universe within ourselves that mimics the universe outside. None of us are just black or white, or never wrong and always right. No one. No one exists without polarities. Everybody has good and bad forces working with them, against them, and within them.

"This mix was inspired by my friends, the people I am most closely connected to. I wanted to create something calm and beautiful, to offer some brief respite and escape. I might compile a tracklist at some point, but for now please just disconnect, zone out, and enjoy the mix. It was recorded in one take at home in Tokyo, October 2016. Thanks to Marc for the picture, Wata for the mastering, and to Jamie for inviting me to contribute." - @mnml-ssgs

HRNR is Mattia Onori, a Berlin-based sound designer for motion pictures, electronic music composer and sound artist. From his obsession for analog gear and modular synthesis come his eclectic electronics. Besides his productions featuring drone heavy panoramas, he collects and mixes different nuances of ambient and techno between a natural, organic sound and a noisy, cumbersome one.

Featuring some Lo-Fi ambient tunes I like more, as well as some deep electronic music, dub and new age stuff, mix contains music by Vaagner, Kizen Records, Abstrakce Records, Astral Industries, Lullabies For Insomniacs, Island Of The Golds Recordings, Oslated, Nonplace, Good Morning Tapes, Young Marco, Burnt Friedemann, Joseph Lawrence Clark, Loscil and more.

Influenced by the tribal minimalist techno of the nineties and the deepest and most abstract techno currents of today, Forest On Stasys delivers intricate and original sound coming from Argentina. Producer, @danza-nativa label owner and a DJ brings us a final note of 2020, an homage to a better future, Black Wave 032.

Even the longest night comes to an end, even the mightiest of storms settles down. And the sun shines through, and the warmth touches your longing body inviting to start anew. We will meet again to dance again, while peacefully shedding a tear. The mourning of loved ones and the time taken away will pass, the heartache will remain. Sill the better future awaits, full of tears of joy and time together again. I only wonder when?
