Berlin, 2016. Local authorities receive reports of a mysterious white van parked up around the city. House music can be heard from within while a queue of people wait in line. It’s called The Ghost, and seven years on, what was once this covert mobile record shop has become its own little universe.

Nob first encountered club music in the late 90's, when a DJ bar was opened downstairs in his hometown Yokohama, Japan. That was the Sound Community DUB, very well renowned for its high sound quality. There, in 2005, Nob and the bar’s crew of DJs and artists founded their collective and created their own original sound system, both named Kamome Sound System.
Since then, before and after his move to Berlin (2015), DJ NOB toured worldwide, delivering a wide range of researched sounds - rarities or classics, from ambient to techno, from dub to disco.

Since then he has been a crucial part of the Sthlm UG scene, continuously throwing raves, booking and playing alongside household names such as Peder Mannerfelt, I Hate Models, Pär Grindvik, Jesper Dahlbäck and so on. He is a DJ who doesn't merely take you on another drum journey, but adds an extra dimension where preconception doesn't apply. It can take a while to get used to it though. Because sophistication never went out of style, it just took a few decades to catch up with it. And when the coin finally dropped, Albion was there to pick it up. In 2004 he realized that he could set out on a musical journey that no DJ had done before him. Over the last years he has recorded more than a hundred mixes and has steadily built up a worldwide following.

With the groundbreaking Mixtura mixes, he rediscovered and brought together European disco tracks that had been lost and forgotten since the heydays, Albion defined his own sound, which he refers to as Continental Disco Sound.

So far, he has been putting dance floors on fire in Amsterdam, Athen, Barcelona, Belgrad, Berlin, Bordeaux, Bristol, Bruxelles, Chemnitz, København, Dresden, Dublin, Göteborg, Hague, Helsinki, Leeds, Leipzig, London, Lyon, Madrid, Malmö, Mons, München, Mockba, New York, Oslo, Palma de Mallorca, Paris, Pescara, Rotterdam, Sofia, Stockholm, Thessaloniki, Turku, Uzés, Veliko Tarnovo and Vilnius.

Each year Albion with friends arrange the disco festival Camp Cosmic.
