I wrote this song almost two years ago now.. it has a special place in my heart.. I didn’t know when the right time would be to release it, but it feels like now is the time to finally share it with the world.. i think it’s crazy how you can go from knowing someone so well, knowing all the things that make them who they are, you can be so close and then the next day you can be strangers.. also I think when you say something out loud, it makes it so much more real, and that concept is the theme for this song.. somehow keeping what you’re feeling or thinking inside, feels safer, makes it feel less real.
