Timbre Wolves expresses the sounds that electric guitar is capable of making when expressed in an experimental, minimalist, drone aesthetic.  Timbre Wolves is an art sound and music project dedicated to creating evocative and transcendent live experiences for the listeners of the long form soundscapes created and explored uniquely in each performance.  It is an abstract expression represented by idealizations of sound, a particular aesthetic and perceptual engagement of listeners of sound together in a space, to create a unique and beautiful music experience.  This ideal expression, both in composition and performance, is painstakingly crafted by the sole tracker of the Timbre Wolves, David Goodheim, an American performer/composer and guitarist.  With its roots in the sounds, feeling, and thinking from music/art school/gallery/sprawling spaces in Los Angeles (while attending California Institute of the Arts), the project has slowly been gaining momentum and audience since about 2011 and honing performance and setup techniques to facilitate a multidimensional perceptual experience of this unique music aesthetic.
