I saw "beat street" as a kid and loved the idea of MIXING , self taught the basics like beat matching and simple scratching , practised at every opportunity on an old citronic mobile disco unit .
Started doing parties with a mate as our own mobile disco in the late 80s , went all digital in the late 90s and liked watching peoples reaction when i would do a 2 + track MASH UPs  , now using virtual dj software to improve my mixing, i sit down at home now and plan out mixes as i have an extensive library of instrumental  and acapella versions of many genres of music .
TIME TO TAKE MY MIXING SERIOUSLY :)
