Biography:

Plech is a psychedelic trance DJ and party promoter from Prague, Czech Republic. He started DJing in 2007, having learned from some great old school Czech DJs, some of whom have left the psytrance scene altogether by now, which is a shame. His first notable appearance was in 2009 at the wonderful Bio Nebio festival. Later, he performed at numerous indoor and outdoor parties in and around the Czech Republic, including several night time appearances at Ufo Bufo, currently the largest local open air festival. The biggest gig yet was at the Drops Festival in Slovenia in 2023.

Plech started with party promotion in 2009, when first he teamed up with DJ MiM to bring the multiinstrumentalist Xenomorph to the Cross Club in Prague, and later that year, with DJs Darjeel, Ejczka, MiM and others, he created the open air festival Maeström, hosting the renowned artists AES Dana, Orestis and Cujorius One. Since 2011, with DJ Ejczka (a tandem known as Polyhedra), they have put together (among other parties) eight repetitions of the acclaimed Der Klang in the Cross Club with peformances by Olien, Darkshire, LAB and many many others. In 2022, Plech joined the Ufo Bufo Festival crew, helping with organization, transporation, accomodation, etc.

Since 2023, Plech is a label DJ for one of his favorite underground labels, Urban Antidote Records. Plech has also performed in several live music bands, plays the guitar, bass guitar and piano, exploring genres like progressive rock or jazz.

First track of my EP “Shinan”, which is a term from the Peruvian Shipibo – Conibo tribe from the Amazon rainforest which translates to “ Idea, Mind, Transaction”. Their unique culture is highly influenced by shamanism, in which the medicinal and visionary use of ayahuasca is practiced. The geometrical decorative designs, which the healer sees during his visions, can be found in many objects from everyday life, such as pottery, clothing, etc. The artistic traditions of the Shipibo have inspired this release and can also be traced in the music as well, and in the cover art by Hazard Hope.
The listener awaits a lysergic multi dimensional driven landscape, with a good dose of groove. Enjoy the ride and allow the compound of this music to have an effect on your consciousness.

Sangoma Records Series' next artist is PURIST from Brazil.

Purist is the Brazil based project of Leonardo Tozzi who is active as a listener and producer of psychedelic music since 2002. With his progressive project “Soulearth” he achieved international recognition and released on various labels and performed in some of the most important festivals in Brazil.
After an inspirational break Leonardo now is back with full force underwent transformation within his music into deep, more nighttime oriented sounds with the aim to heal the soul through trance - resulting in influences he had through shamanic experiences. Truly reborn psychedelia with a twist, which he describes as “ Alien Forest”. After some exiting collaborations and releases on labels such Mosaico and Catalyst Records he now joined the Sangoma Records family. Some exiting releases are guaranteed. Stay tuned!

With influences ranging from early Hallucinogen, X-Dream, and Cosmosis to modern artists such as Ajja, Rastaliens, Talpa, and Electrypnose, the Simiantics sound is always energetic and psychedelic, and is part of the wonderful family at Peak Records. Collaborations with artists such as Ajja, Dirty Saffi, Tristan, Nigel, and Asimilon have also been unleashed.
One of the primary aims of the Simiantics project has always been to create an interesting live act. After much experimentation, a setup consisting of Nintendo Wii remotes as well as other MIDI controllers has been devised, which allows live remixing and tweaking in order to respond to the crowd in a visible and entertaining manner.

Simiantics has performed at a number of festivals and venues around the world, including Goa, Germany, Thailand, England, Bali, Australia, Singapore, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Russia, to an overwhelmingly positive response.

As the next part of the series label DJ FOG presents you the Looney Moon sound in his brand new mix.

Listening to goatrance since 1994, he started djing in 1998 and played at first party in 2000; in 2004 he opened Looney Moon party org with a bunch of friends, and started producing events all over italy and abroad. Due to the success of the party org, In the end of 2007,the group decided to open Looney Moon records.
Label dj for the swiss label Peak rec since 2006 and label manager of Looney Moon rec with dj Phobos since the very beginning, dj Fog has rocked countless events all over the globe, including a lot of the bigger festivals.
He is mostly playing “Looney Moon” style but he has also a rich selection of forest and psychedelic / dark progressive: his sets on any style are rich of unreleased stuff from all the artist-friends around the globe and you can expect to hear long and clean mixes.
Beside being behind Looney moon records, that is lately having a great success worldwide, Fog is also co-founder of “Collider Art Gallery”, “Looney Moon Deco” and the stretch tents company “Tentourage”, as well as artistic and logistic consultant for several other events all around the globe.

Dear fellow creatures, in these ambivalent times full of change and uncertainty, we are facing new states of our everyday modes that are asking us to adopt likewise measures. We are undergoing social distancing in order to unite in a common cause, we are undergoing inactivity in order to take action, and we are forgetting our differences in order to remember that we are all connected in a circle much larger than we can possibly grasp.

Aligning to this global situation, we have made a small attempt to reach out to all of you. We feel that we need to impose some special measures and in the same ambivalent manner we decided that a strict Forestdelic curfew needs to be announced all over your speakers. Everyday from 21:00 CET there will be a new recorded set from one of our native artists on our Soundcloud page for about an hour of positivity, joy and inspiration, and when movement in the area of fear, panic and despair will be strictly forbidden. All the rest of your daily time we kindly ask from everyone to be conscious, disciplined and caring for one another and exercise the general guidelines active in your respective areas.
