Somewhere I Used To Know (feat. Tommy Sissons)

Nucleotides is Trev Gibb's first solo album release, produced by Mick Ross of Mono Productions at The Tower in the Ouseburn, with initial recording sessions engineered by Mark Broughton at Blast Studios. Recorded between autumn of 2013 and the winter of 2015 the album has gone through various permutations, starting out as a single project with David Burn (Detroit Social Club) before becoming an album-project under the tutelage of Mick Ross and Mono Productions. During work on the album Trev and his band supported Kaiser Chiefs and Public Service Broadcasting at Newcastle Arena in the spring of 2015 and subsequently played at The Stadium of Light and  Lindisfarne Festival, culminating in a single launch and digital-only double-A single release Old Wounds/Skinny Arms on the Mono Productions label in January 2016.  

The album features quite the array of North-East musical talents, with Tom Fletcher (The Lake Poets, Hyde & Beast) on pedal steel, synth and piano from Dale Knight (Keep Breathing), Fran O'Hanlon (Ajimal), Matt Hardy (Tessera Skies) and Rob Murray (Minotaurs) on drums, and Chris Murray (Minotaurs) and ex Let's Buy Happiness / current EatFast and Apologies' Mark Brown both on bass. The album also features guest vocals and guitar from Martin Longstaff (The Lake Poets), guitar from Matt Weaver (Rushers of Din) and Nick Sheffield and violin and mandolin from Patrick Lawrence and Guy Bainbridge respectively.

The album will self-release on Nov 4th on Spotify, Soundcloud and Bandcamp.
