Bravo, von den 8 Minuten hat sich jede Sekunde gelohnt. Man spürt, dass du den Song selber lebst. Wie ich dir bereits geschrieben habe bin ich durch mein Leben ohne Phil Ochs gekommen und kann daher auch keinen Vergleich ziehen. Das möchte ich jetzt auch noch nicht machen werde es aber irgendwann nachholen. Einen solchen Song zu spielen ohne dass er für den zuhörer langweilig wirkt ist eine großartige Sache. Ich warte weiter auf deine eigenen Kompositionen und bin schon sehr neugierig. Tolle Aufnahme.

Not familiar with the original song, but how you cover it is noteworthy with a clear, strong, voice, and fluid guitar playing.  It sounds like you were doing this live in one take, a difficult prospect for such a long song, but done very well. Kudos.

here is my acoustic cover of Phil Ochs' "The Crucifixion" of his 1967 waaay to underrated album "Pleasures Of The Harbor". It is more oriented on the live version, because the album version is much more playful with different instruments and rhythms.
