Formed in early 2012 a few months before James auditioned for the 9th series of X Factor UK, the band recorded 2 EP's which were eventually released for a short period as "The EP Collection" & performed a few local shows in and around Middlesbrough.

Kombat is one of Australia's up and coming Electronic Dance Music producers. His passion for playing bass heavy tunes and stomping dance floor rhythms has seen him destroying club scenes throughout Australia and supporting some of the world's best dubstep talents such as Skrillex(US), Skism(UK), TC(UK), Zomboy(UK), Downlink(CA), Doctor P(UK) as well as gaining radio support on Australia's Triple J and FBI Radio. Kombat has released tracks through Ultragore Recordings, Ministry of Sound, One Love and also as a part of KPC, a dynamic Australian Dubstep/Drum and Bass outfit. His tracks have gained support from the likes of Downlink, Excision, Liquid Stranger, AC Slater, SPL, Antiserum, Helicopter Showdown, Figure and DZ to name a few. With several forthcoming EP's, singles and remixes combined with high energy live shows make him one of the artists to look out for in 2012.
