Sunshine music for the masses! The happy hippo always brings the sunshine no matter what the weather. This DJ and producer has created his own unique party vibe by infusing Latin, Caribbean and Afro styles into his tastefully produced selections of Breaks, House, Drum & Bass and Hiphop.

He also leads Hippo Sound System, a collective of producers, musicians and vocalists who explore new fusions of world music with sound system culture. Producing intelligent and organic dance music that is enriching for both the body and the soul!

David Rodigan, Craig Charles and Jeremiah Asiamiah are all fans of his work, giving his tracks airtime on their shows on BBC Radio 1, BBC 1Xtra and BBC 6 music.

My aim is not for world domination fame or fortune, Its simply to play & explore music that can take you the listener on a journey into a Sonic Soundscape!! 

Expect seditious and heavy sounds emanating from the realms of Glitch-Hop, Dubstep & Halftime Bass-Drum & Bass, Funky Bass Music to Psy Bass & Bush Prog & Tech House. As well as Bass Fuelled Funk Banger's, Classic Party Breaks to Ghetto Funk & other Funky Fresh Flavours...From across the funk spectrum with zero time to follow any rules or to stay in lane the music I often play is blended all within the same genre blurring set's with no limits, but to craft something different for people to not to just listen to but to have a real good time with with each listen. 

Hopefully the content & mixes i post here will travel far and wide & reach all the open minded ears out there, That dig the 'Funk', In its many form's where ever they are!!
