Amniote Editions teams up with Mala Junta to release “The Collective Capsule” in celebration of 5th anniversary of Berlin’s favourite queer event.

“The Collective Capsule” is a celebration and tribute to the unique Mala Junta and it’s impact on Berlin’s vibrant contemporary queer scene as well as a reflection of the core principles of these two collectives, which serve as a mirror for the society we want to push forward.

The package features a 12″ vinyl record composed of 4 tracks from Mala Junta’s residents Hyperaktivist, Yazzus, DJ Tool, and D.Dan, as well as two compilations featuring Roza Terenzi, Jensen Interceptor, Mohajer, Peachlyfe, Francois X, Narciss to name a few..

The Collective Capsule Compilation Vol. 2 emerges on Amniote Editions on 15th September.

Bio:
steamboi are a Copenhagen-based DJ, co-founder of the event series Zeitgeist and resident at the queer party GAG at Den Anden Side. Often found behind the decks in the early morning hours, they have developed a reputation for delivering sets with powerful basslines and an enchanting atmosphere. Their sets aim to evoke a sense of empowerment and rejuvenation, leaving listeners with a lasting impact. steamboi loves to keep it interesting by crafting sets that are unpredictable and dynamic, keeping the audience curious and engaged.

As a resident DJ for local collectives @hraberlin, @cumulonimbus-berlin and the Leipzig-based @exilkollektiv, Josephine has emerged as a DJ to watch in recent years. She never lingers long on any one sound and fuses several sub-genres into her sets, evoking visceral feels in clubs like OXI, Suicide Club, ://about blank and beyond.
