I'm Michael Whelan, I play Guitar, Bass, Keyboard, Mandolin, and I know what a drum set looks like. 

INITIATOR is a rock band from Southern California. Inspired by endless styles and genres, INITIATOR writes with a fearless sense of tonality and rhythm. Formed by life-long writing partners Dennis Atlas and Michael Whelan, who utilized years of life experience to develop a unique writing style, INITIATOR's music reflects a tone of wonderment for all forms of music and expression. They then joined forces with renowned drummer Mike Hetzel, long admired by the duo, and solidified their ideas into a full-length studio album, due out in early 2018.

When INITIATOR write music, 
they never ask "May I?", they ask "What if?".
