Fast rising star on the U.K. Folk/ Country scene, Emily Mae Winters has that rare quality in a singer that makes critics reach for the superlatives. Described as having a voice that “stops you in your tracks” and “arresting, enthralling, tantalising” by Americana UK, Emily combines straight-to-the-heart bittersweetness with her own unique passion and drama in performance.
A trained musical theatre performer turned Shakespearean actress, eventually Winters left the characters behind in favour of her guitar to tell her own stories through song. A self confessed ‘poetry geek’, growing up a fan of 19th Century romantic poetry and literature, Winters released her much awaited second album ‘High Romance’ in July 2019 which sits between the stormy seas of folk and country.

The record was produced by award winning London based Americana producer Matt Ingram at Urchin Studios (Florence and the Machine, Lucy Rose, Laura Marling, The Staves) Winters has received support from the BBC Country Show with Bob Harris on BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 2 Folk Show & BBC Radio 2 Good Morning Sunday. The record reached No.3 in the iTunes Country Charts and was listed in Folk Radio UK’s Top Ten Albums of the Year leading to two sell out headline tours with her band and invitations to play a host of prestigious festivals. Winters very recently supported award winning Nashville artist Molly Tuttle on her U.K. tour.

The Eldar are a band from Glastonbury, specializing in musical mayhem merged with miracles . With influences from deep psychedelic 60's vibes such as Jefferson Airplane & The Doors, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, The Kinks, Procal Harem,  Janis Joplin, Deep Purple & Love, to folk-rock bands Fairport Convention & Fleetwood Mac to the more modern Indie-rock  music such as Mazzy Star, Suede, The Charlatans & The Stone Roses, Oasis, Ocean Colour Scene, Cast &  Paul Weller, yet with a flavour all of their own. The Eldar are a blend of Irish & Somerset based musicians with an eclectic mix of influences. Their focal is on blending folk & rock with psychedelic touches and sprinkles of charm! The band consists of Vocals and Rhythm Guitar from David, Vocals, Bodhran, Tibetan bowl and Keyboard from Lucy, Bass from George, Drums from Mike and Matt, Lead Guitar from Phil. The band took part in The Glastonbury Fringe Festival Summer 2018; where the band The Eldar performed three times, Friday as an open rehearsal for the festival eve, Saturday afternoon performing three of their songs ~ Bless Your Soul, Sword & Shield & See the World ~ on Gfm Radio stage & their full set in the evening at The Blue Note.

The August List are a six-piece psych folk rock band from Oxford. Their new EP, 'Sun Pinned On Ghost Sky', comes out on the 7th November 2025 on streaming and vinyl. It sounds like a fuzzy anxiety slink and they recommend you check it out. They are touring in November (here are tickets: https://lnk.bio/theaugustlist).

They have toured across the UK and Europe, performed alongside luminaries such as Jesca Hoop, Trembling Bells, The Lovely Eggs, and Gwenifer Raymond and appeared at prestigious festivals such as Festival Number 6, Wilderness and Truck. Previous releases have received critical acclaim and have been supported by DJs across the BBC network including 6Music.

To date Charlie has recorded six albums containing nothing but his own songs.  In fact he has never recorded anybody else’s songs. A unique feat in itself giving him a catalogue of over 100 songs recorded and waiting to be.

Holy Moly & The Crackers are the innovative and fiery folk-rockers from Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, who bombastically mash together unique flavours of soul, rock, indie and Balkan folk. However you want to describe them, one thing is sure - Holy Moly & The Crackers put on a raucous and feel good party, where everyone is invited, and have become renowned for their blazing live shows:

 “these six young talented musicians are writing and performing exciting, innovative music reflecting their individual influences while forging a collective band sound – one that is unique and appeals to a wide age range from 7 to 70 years and their diverse music preferences. For a couple of hours, the turbulence, hatred and divisions in society are forgotten and music has become the healer” (American Blues Scene, Live at Sage Gateshead 2019)

 The band was formed almost by mistake, when Conrad Bird, Ruth Patterson and Rosie Bristow met at a house party in Leamington Spa of all places. They were in their late teens. Enamoured by Rosie’s party-prop accordion, the three decided to start playing music together - mainly stomping folk and drinking songs as an alternative to "SMACK" - Leamington's main student club, that was the only other option for a night out.

Moving North, and nearly 10 years on, the band has grown into a rocking 6 piece: with Tommy Evans on drums, Nick Tyler on guitars and Jamie Shields on bass to provide the grunt and diesel. They have released 3 albums and launched their own record label, Pink Lane.

Slowly building a loyal and enthusiastic fanbase over the years, the six-piece first tasted success with the release of their 2nd album Salem, when lead single Cold Comfort Lane was picked up by Hollywood and used in the vibrant, stick-it-to-the-man blockbuster Oceans8 in 2018. Since then they have sold out shows across the UK and Europe and graced the stages of innumerable festivals (Glastonbury, Bestival, Colours Of Ostrava (CZ) to name 3 of many).

Working again with Salem producer, Matt Terry, they recorded and released their 3rd album Take A Bite in 2019, to raptured acclaim. Championed by Spotify, Radio X and singer-songwriter Frank Turner, it has been described as a “swaggering album that showcases a riotous blend of styles” (Louder Than War). Once again Holy Moly hit the road in full throttle, joining ‘shanty punks’ Skinny Lister on tour around Europe, before appearing at over 30 festivals, before finally undertaking a victorious headline lap of the UK, culminating in selling out their biggest show to date at Sage Gateshead on the banks of the Tyne. Ruth and Conrad also got married. It was a busy year!

2020 saw the band blasting out of the blocks with their new single Road To You, described as “a shot of espresso, that comes loaded and ready to work in a short, sharp shock” The band were set to play 27 dates across 10 countries on their biggest European tour to date, as well as support Frank Turner across France and Germany, and return to Glastonbury for its 50th anniversary. But, well, you know what happened next. Many of their dates have been postponed and rescheduled for 2021. In the mean-time, no doubt they will retreat into their crazy chocolate factory to conjure up a whole load of magical, insane musical treats.
