Back in the 90’s, during a so called alternative age was still on its best era in a small little town in Indonesia called Medan. When dance music is a proscribed thing, even in people’s thought, Rico has returned from overseas where he spent his time for studying. Bringing up the talent that wasn’t even talked about in this town. Gathering round a small community, which later known as Batser Crew in 1998. 

In 2001. Later on, he, and some mates began to held small local gigs and parties just to form a dance-scene, from nothing. Starting from spreading he’s own flyers, organize an owned private party, only by intention to gather more people and dance music lover. Batser crew also known as Medan’s pioneer rave promotor.

In 2006, he created his own management, under the name of MONOHOUSE by recruiting new breed dj in town to declare his own mission, delivering quality house music. At the same time he run a small lounge called Monohouse-DJ-Session @ Chatternite/MusicRoom, Garuda Plaza Hotel, Medan for more than 2 years and proven successful in bringing a small community who love quality house music together

In 2010, Rico is honored by joining the knights of 1945 MUSIC 
FACTORY from the founder him-self, Dj Romy Soekarno. 
1945MF also known as the biggest EDM label in Indonesia.

In 2010 and 2011, Rico has been nominated 2 times for REDMA Ravelex electronic dance music award in Sumatera DJ of the year category. 

In 2012, Rico release his first music production in Major Digital Online shop, such as Beatport, iTunes and more. With the “Rico Putra” artist name, signing with Control Record, Audio Expression Record, System Recording and 1945MF Record as well. His track (The Music Remix) was included in Myon & Shane45 Beatport chart

In 2013, Rico create his own alter ego. "HALOMYLO" Delivering his own interest in deep house down tempo scene.

His revered NoXcuses radio show on iHeart (formerly on SiriusXM’s Electric Area) is broadcast to over 40 countries twice a week, and hosts events around the planet under the same name, including during Miami Music Week and an annual New York yacht party. His international touring schedule often sees him traversing multiple countries and continents each week, holding residencies at some of the world’s most iconic clubs (Space Ibiza, Privilege Ibiza and Wynn Las Vegas to name a few) while consistently performing at the most esteemed festivals on the global circuit. 
 
The forced hiatus in international touring during much of 2020 and 2021 allowed EDX to channel his creativity and energy into other parts of his business. He spent considerable time with his label and management teams in Zürich to navigate the turbulent period and ensure a smooth and quick transition out of lockdown. 
 
Back in full force, 2022 was one of his most prolific years to-date, boasting an array of releases on prestigious imprints, including Don’t Be Afraid with Allie Crystal and sampling Dennis Parker’s iconic Like An Eagle in Holy Wood with Frey. Continuing this momentum in 2023, EDX released Renascence, and reunited with Frey to revisit an all-time dance classic The Rhythm Of The Night, receiving special permission from the original’s creator Roberto Zanetti. 
 
Entering 2024 ready to showcase the magic he has been cooking up in the studio, EDX brought his first single of the year to light titled Vividra. Dedicated to experimenting with new sounds, while maintaining his indomitable EDX production quality, his next release Setema breathes modern flair into his globally adored sound. Tried and tested from Miami to Ibiza over recent months, it has formed an instant connection with audiences in every set. His impressive musical output keeps him at the helm of the scene, and is one of the most cherished acts in dance music; a position that he has held for almost three decades.

Starting his career in 2006, passionate with Electronic Dance Music so much he decided devoting his time to be a professional Disc Jockey. His desire of being Disc Jockey was so huge and spent much his time on practicing daily in his own studio and his availability to attend all International and local DJ’s that came to his country.

He’s already spinnin at all major clubs in Medan, Jakarta, Bali, Semarang, Malang such as Entrance the "Music Temple" that he holds his residency for 3 months, Tobasa Club, Retrospective, xXx (X3) club, Cava, Shoot Lounge, Liquid, The Flame, Eighty Eight, Double Six, SF, Barcode, 999, Kampus, X2, Stadium and various clubs in Indonesia.

He has shared decks and choosen as the warm up-DJ for Above & Beyond, Simon Patterson, Super 8 & Tab, Eric Entrena, First State, PROFF, Jerome Isma-Ae, Dash Berlin, Ronski Speed, Emma Hewitt, and many more.

Nowdays he's joining Spinach Records which gives him a bigger opportunity to grow his talent and career.
Adhi plays beautiful House, Progressive, Trance and Big room stuff that brings enjoyment to every patrons that came to witness his set.
 
By name, DJ Adhi is already a star in North Sumatera today. 
He has crowned as “Sumatra DJ Of The Year REDMA 2010” & #24 Top 50 DJ REDMA 2011”

STARTED AS A DJ, RECORD PRODUCER AND REMIXER IN MY HOMETOWN, BREDA. ULTIMATELY VOTED THE WORLD'S NUMBER ONE DJ ON DJ MAG IN 2013 AND AGAIN IN 2014. NOW A MUSICAL CREATIVE FOLLOWING MY OWN PATH, BACK FOR MORE.
