Downtempo Medicine Vol 3

When Ekoa invited me to remix Mother Whale, I knew it would be a challenge. The original is an ambient piece, deep, spacious and without a defined rhythm.

Since the name Mother Whale represents the ocean, I started thinking about the connection between Portugal and Brazil. I imagined the first encounters between the Portuguese and the indigenous people, two cultures meeting for the first time •• 🧜🏻‍♂️🧜🏻‍♀️

With that idea in mind, I built a groove that brings movement and energy while staying true to the essence of the song 🌅

During the war with Iran we gathered to dance next to a shelter, luckily there was not alarms during the journey 🙏🙏🙏

I decided that the journey will be very energetic and uplifting to make us forget all the fear and tension from the war
