Mein heutiger Gast ist der Philosoph Markus Gabriel. Als Kind trat er vor eine Laterne, ein Regentropfen fiel ihm ins Auge und plötzlich sah er zwei Laternen vor sich und fragte: “Wenn ich jetzt zwei Laternen sehe, warum glaube ich dann trotzdem, dass da nur eine ist?“ Ab diesem Moment wurde er Erkenntnistheoretiker.  

Mit 25 Jahren promovierte er und mit 29 Jahren wurde er Deutschlands jüngster Philosophie-Professor. Er ist Inhaber des Lehrstuhls für Erkenntnistheorie, Philosophie der Neuzeit und der Gegenwart an der Universität Bonn, er unterrichtet in Paris, New York, Hongkong, ist Leiter des New Instituts in Hamburg und gerade ist sein neues Buch “Der Mensch als Tier” erschienen. 

Wir haben uns live vor Publikum in München unterhalten. Das Gespräch versucht greifbar zu machen, was sonst kaum begreifbar ist. Es geht um Schicksal, Glauben und Moral. Aber auch der Papst spielt eine wesentliche Rolle.

Migrating from mixcloud to soundcloud. New mixes incoming, but for now I'm reuploading some older ones, starting with this mix I did last year for Davide Del Vecchio's REHAB LDN radio show at Universal Rhythms Radio. 

"I met @davidedelvecchiomusic a few months back (on a dance floor, as per the norm) while we were both losing our collective mind over a deeply soulful set by the maestro @guakacvo at the jazz cafe. We immediately bonded over the shared love of music and parties, and we bumped into each other again during hunee's wild 10hr set later that weekend. I will never tire of saying this: dance floor pals are the best of pals.

Davide and his crew immediately make me feel welcome and part of the gang, an attribute I value and appreciate above all else. So to be asked to play a guest mix on his wonderful @rehab_ldn show on one of my fav online radio stations @universalrhythms.music is an absolute treat, thank you for the invite man.

I wanted to capture the energy of that incredible weekend that featured dancing at 4 parties across 3 days, and hopefully this hour mix of deep gwoka, soulful electronica and jazzy house does just that.
