wow, after listening to a few of the colapsasaurus rex tracks, i was laughing.   now im sad because i am only going to get poorer

Creating this audio file was an ambitious undertaking. Thank you for doing it. The clarity of the science was amazing even if the sociology, economics, and cultural commentary was dated at best. Kudos to you, and to the author.

"I met @davidedelvecchiomusic a few months back (on a dance floor, as per the norm) while we were both losing our collective mind over a deeply soulful set by the maestro @guakacvo at the jazz cafe. We immediately bonded over the shared love of music and parties, and we bumped into each other again during hunee's wild 10hr set later that weekend. I will never tire of saying this: dance floor pals are the best of pals.

Davide and his crew immediately make me feel welcome and part of the gang, an attribute I value and appreciate above all else. So to be asked to play a guest mix on his wonderful @rehab_ldn show on one of my fav online radio stations @universalrhythms.music is an absolute treat, thank you for the invite man.

I wanted to capture the energy of that incredible weekend that featured dancing at 4 parties across 3 days, and hopefully this hour mix of deep gwoka, soulful electronica and jazzy house does just that.

Let'z go back 2 tha yr of 2001. I was approached by this man calling from Miami asking me that he heard if they wanted 2 start a new dance radio station in Orlando, You need 2 get a hold of that cat named Manny Cuevas. So 1 night, I get thiz phone call from thiz stranger wanting 2 set up a meeting with me @ a certain location. I wuz like, ok let'z do thiz.
So tha following day we met up @ thiz empty building.
I'm like, it'z a pleasure 2 meet you... now what do you need from me?? He said that they were building a new dance radio station & needed Ideaz. I replied, ok so I can help you & all I want out of thiz deal iz my own radio show. Long story short, station started... I gave him namez of other DJ'z he should hire az Mixmasterz & that'z that.
The station grew very fast & about 1 yr later changed it'z location across the street.
I wuz the 1st person he hired & the person who gave my ideaz on how 2 design a cool DJ setup 4 tha mixshowz. I'll end tha story here 4 now. 1 thing about Manny Cuevas, NOBODY tells him what 2 play & how 2 play... that wuz then & will continue til my last breath. Even though they wanted me to play what wuz popular in Orlando... Muzik like Trance, Break Beatz, Progressive House, Etc... I wuz like yeah sure sure... but az u listen you can tell that what they told me entered 1 ear & str8 out tha other. I make my own rulez & nobody but God can change that!!!

Wow!! Can't believe I found this tape of my brother DJ Jose' Cuevas. Around 1993' we took a break from WPRK Radio & I took tha back seat from DJing & started 2 promote other DJ's from Chicago & Detroit. I alwayz had a passion 4 bringing up new talent & giving them their first break or link them with the right people & direct them 2 their success.
My 2 younger twin brother'z kept the DJing with their original passion 4 Hip Hop, Miami Bass, Booty Rap & Freestyle Music.
