Işık Abla (pronounced ISH-ik) grew up in a Muslim home in Turkey, where she was physically and verbally abused. She escaped into an even more abusive situation when she married her Muslim husband. When she looked to Allah for answers, Işık found that he, too, was angry, impersonal, and hateful. Nevertheless, she held tight to the god of Islam, immersing herself in Quranic studies and convincing herself that her god was perfect. Işik entered college and earned a bachelor’s degree in literature, followed by an advanced business degree.

When the abuse became deadly, she fled for her life to America. After years of struggling and failing in many areas and relationships, Işık entered into intense depression.

On the day she was contemplating suicide, Işık had a personal encounter with God. She received supernatural healing and redemption from Jesus as she surrendered her life to Him.
After several years of holding high positions in the corporate world, Işık obeyed God’s call to full-time ministry. She became an ordained minister and an evangelist. She graduated from a school of ministry, and studied in the school of divinity.
Işık hosts evangelical TV programs that are broadcast in multiple languages to the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and America. Her messages are full of love, healing and freedom through Christ for the Muslim World. Now Işık is preaching revival messages for the Western world and giving a “wake-up call” through TV and radio broadcasts.
