Detroit Techno Militia is a record label and a street level DJ/Producer collective dedicated to preserving the legacy of true Detroit electronic music and its proliferation around the world.  We believe in what we do, and take pride in contributing to a tradition that has deeply inspired us. Detroit Techno Militia soldiers work to maintain and preserve the significance of techno made in our native city.

I love feel good music no matter genre or style

Started buying early house and hip house around 1988, then got into the uk breakbeat/hardcore scene going to all the big raves and clubs.

Then Jungle music took over my record buying habits and i started Kettering's first Jungle night Jungle Juice with Mc Ruthless (Detonate/Hospital Records)..

Loved the Metalheadz/Good Looking sound after the fall of Jungle.... but i think DnB lost its way a bit after that (to many men not enough ladies in the dance)

My faith was restored by the vibes of Dj Patife/Marky (Brazil) who played a mixture of Latin and Liquid Funk to get the ladies back on the dance floor.

I have been fortunate to dj at some of the biggest clubs in the country  Sanctuary, Que Club, Air/Code, Medicine Bar,Roadmender and a few festivals.

As well as Germany and Poland.

For nights like Helter Skelter,  Warning, Accelerated Culture, Random Concept, Depth Charge, Autumn ,BreakThru , Skooling, HQ, Rebirth, Stimulus, Back2Skool.

Also Promoted Jungle Juice, Flavaunit, Sound of the Streets, Junglefunk and Deja-Vu

I am resident at Deja-vu, Jungle Concept and Subrockerz.

Love mixing my influences Ska, Acid House, Soul, Motown so expect a few more of these to come
