SMILE!

Last but not least, Smokin Rock bares its soul for the world to see. Dannewitz belts out his story of hardship with unflinching honesty as Hank Rusch machine guns the universe with his Stratocaster. This song was written in 2018. It was a sort of autobiographical song  pertaining to singer Bob Dannewitz during a rough patch in his life.  At the that time lockdowns, riots, crime, war were non existent. We thought the song was not relatable so we shelved it.  What a difference a couple of years make!! Now all the mad prophet rantings are par for the course in this year 2024.  This the last of Smokin Rock's releases in the album Desiree, we present it for your listening.

Dear Reader,

Well this is a bit of a curve ball , I had been listening to Axel Menningen and was so impressed I asked him to help on a song I was doing , he in his wisdom suggested it being a duet , so I got in touch with my lifelong friend Kim , and the 3 of us put this together , it's a bit different from my usual stuff , but we think you'll like it !
