Next up on the 9th is another remix , then on the 15th is a real Stadium Rocker by Charlie and the Fox , then on the 22nd something different , a Rap/Rock song with Namibian Rapper Blaffy . After that is a great classic with Gaz Brownie and Nat Daniels , and a stripped back ballad , again with Tony Harris , phew , it's all go ! Thank you for giving me the time of day !

Dear Reader, 

Sometimes when I place my hands on the piano, chords sequences just happen. This was the case with Thickets of Time. I suddenly found myself playing the strange inversions of the first four chords, and then I was off. The rest of the song wrote itself. 

The beautiful delay on the drums was an accident. A happy accident. I love it when that happens. 

This calendar year has had its hills and valleys, and no doubt anyone who has been listening to my music can hear both ends of the geographical spectrum. I don't believe that this song reflects any one moment, but is simply a statement of what it is to be human living in time. 

I hope you find something of value in the song.

Bit of a wacky one this , written by and lead vocals by Gaz Brownie , he sent me a rough draft and basically said " off you go Mike " We got keyboard whizz kid Axel Menningen on board , and the whole thing turned out really good , we hope you like it ! Me , Gaz and Nat have just finished a real belter of a song , took a bit of doing but worth it in the end , released in about a month . Next up is me and Dave Cooper , closely followed by me and Glenny G . then a re release of last years Christmas song ( didn't have time to do a new one ! ) Plus me and Charlotte are working on 2 stunning songs , yet to be completed . Christmas gives me a unique opportunity with AI.  There's a lot of songs that are both in the public domain and highly recognizable.  So I chosen one of my favorites. I'm a Peanuts fan, and this song features predominantly in the Christmas Special.

I'm refraining from commenting on the results because I want to hear people's honest opinions.

This song started as a rough recorded by Tez on his acoustic and electric guitars. He also wrote the lyrics right off the bat, and introduced them to the rest of The Eclectic Collective by singing them as a rough, too. His vision for this was to create a song that sounded like it could've been recorded at Headley Grange. He also wanted it to feature instruments that wouldn't sound out of entirely out of place in Feudal Age Britain (between 1000-1600 C.E.) to carry the spirit of his lyrics.
  Tez always writes songs that are fun to learn and have cool changes, so the we all jumped in with both feet. Ken was first up with his Bonham like big, bad beat. To that, Josh added his P-bass, which he used a plectrum on, something he rarely does, trying to sound like JPJ to match his Ken's energy. JJ came along next, adding his colourful mix of raucous organ, time period relevant Celtic flute, and outro bagpipes. He did the entire outro, in fact, including the "off with her head," line, too. 
  Once the music was all laid down, Tez tapped Mark to sing the humorous lyrics. Mark came through with flying colours on the vocal performance, as always, too. Mark also added the textural, boingy-sounding jaw harp in the chorus sections.
  Now that it was all in the can, Two of our master producers Tez and Mark mixed it, then asked the third, Stephen, to do the final mastering. It should be noted, too, that Mark also contributed significantly to the production, too, with his masterful editing skills.
  This was a really fun tune to put together, as we always have fun working on Tez's seeds. He is telling the tale of lust between two Feudal era peasants. Of course, it's rife with ribaldry, being as Tez is British. We hope you enjoy listening to this a much as we enjoyed creating it.
