Klanklab (Richard Bekkers, 1976, ‘s-Hertogenbosch Netherlands) 

Started of in the mid nineties. Richards’s interest for Underground Techno was triggered by the Acid scène at that time. Soon he was to be found behind the decks and managed to work his way up in the (illegal) Underground- and Club Techno scène. Known as DJ Dilemma he performed for almost twenty years. Mostly loved for his broad interpretation of the word Techno and lively performances. Recently Dilemma has changed his name to Klanklab. This is his former producer name and used for several similar named parties. Klanklab is about Techno with a little touch of acid. The BPM is a bit slower, the music more mainstream but it still has got that little edge to it that makes you want to go on for a few hours. Matured and ready for a bigger stage.

DJ Valozi began to be interested in electronic music and new, to 15 years. In 1999 bought a pair of Technics SL1200 MKII and started playing house music, a bit of Techno and Trance, but it was with the Drum and Bass he most identified, especially the Liquid DNB. In mid-2000 the "Brazilian Drum and Bass" exploded on the world scene. DJ's and producers recognized as Mad Zoo, Marky, Mystific, Rascal, Mjazzy, XRS, Ramilson Maia, Human Factor and many others are still very successful and do not go your case. Years later, he had his first contact with the Good Looking Records and also with the work of "LTJ Bukem" more "jazzy" and " atmospheric", which left him impressed! In early 2010 began recording his sets and in 2011 met Matthew Marshall, and a friend, is also an excellent DJ and a visionary of DNB that opened many doors for the Valozi’s work and many others. Throughout his career, Valozi sought to have on hand not only the pearls of the Brazilian drum and bass, but also super international productions of artists like Furney, Dynamic, Jrumhand, Dramatic & dbAudio, Makoto, MSDOS, ARP-1, Bass'flo , In-Deed, Vandera, Malaky, Phat Playaz, Paul SG, Flowrian, etc.
Currently Valozi is a resident of channels Future Sounds Radio, Innersence Radio DNB, DNB Radio Brazil and Bluezik Beatz Radio. Also a member of Chillax Trax (UK) and Records Management Administrator of DNBB Recordings.

Biography

DJ Quantize a.k.a. James Barr, born and bred in Sussex, started out in 2004 performing locally at many house parties, pubs and clubs. As he progressed he was able to secure regular slots around the Somerset, Bristol, Southampton and Swindon regions, playing at numerous internet based radio stations, and is now the co-founder at Drum& Bass Network Radio. He was also involved with other various radio stations such as; Emergency FM, Bassport FM, Headrush Radio, Drum & Bass Express, DNB Radio, London’s Upfront Radio, BNB London Radio, Glastonbury FM and Ujima 98.

His early musical influences include DJ Premier, The Fugees, Cypress Hill, DJ Zinc and DJ Craze. James’ strong interest for music and his passion to succeed led him down the production route, taking on work experience at a professional recording studio in Chichester, where he acquired a taste to start writing his own tracks. Whilst still working voluntary for Airtight Studio's and enrolling with Chichester College for Performing Arts, this course included DJing lessons and practice, gaining experience including career development courses called ‘Gateway to Music’ with an open learning plan. During this time DJ Quantizes musical style progressed to incorporate such genres such as Drum & Bass, Hip Hop and Reggae.

James also performed at NASS Festival, somerset reggae festival, farm fest and has made a number of appearances at ‘The Godney Gathering’ where he received a supporting response from the crowd. He has already had the pleasure of playing alongside many major artists like; Nicky Blackmarket, Turno and Serial Killaz. 

With James’ determination, skill and passion to succeed, I am sure this DJ is going to go the distance....Amen...
