I’ve been playing guitar and composing music for more than 25 years. My music is influenced by my travels across Europe, weaving a captivating blend of Spanish guitar, Flamenco, and Jazz.

Black Bobby is a rapper who used to run in Miami the record label Square Biz. He has released five solo projects to critical acclaim and has performed all over South Florida, in DC (his hometown) at the Cake & Kisses party and in NYC. In Miami he opened for Mos Def & Talib Kweli (Black Star) at the historic Fillmore on South Beach for 2011's Rock the Bells. He has also opened for Pusha T (at Bardot), NORE (at Vagabond) and AZ & Cormega (at White Room). He has performed at Art Basel twice as well as Sweat Records' SWEATSTOCK, where he has also served as the host. His music has been written about in NBC Miami, the Miami New Times, DC to BC, Hipster Overkill, Rock the Disco, For the DMV Only, Beached Miami, Antisteez, TBD- Washington, DC and others and has been played on several radio stations including #1 college radio station in the nation, WVUM. Bobby recently relaunched his music career in Atlanta where you can find him performing around town, most recently at 529 and Smith's Olde Bar. A group composed of talented producers, limitless lyricists, and gifted musicians whose combined talents lay a foundation, for nothing short, of musical excellence. Their frequent live shows are always electrifying and genre-less. Complete with horn section, non-stop rhythmic sounds and hard-hitting beats, House of Vibe, journey’s through rock, jazz, hip-hop and R&B with creative ease. All the while keeping the crowd jumping. Whether you’re a first time viewer or devoted follower, every performance has a unique vibe. Excluding the fact that they don’t rehearse, shows are kept cutting-edge through special guests, who amplify the already dynamic mix, and spontaneous experimentation.

It all began in a house in Culver City where Anthony “Brew” Brewster lived, worked and played. His home recording studio was a hub for such recording artists as Kanetic Source (Ozomatli), Deploi, Chali 2na (Jurassic5), Tony Tarasco (Orioles) and many more. His spot was quickly dubbed “the house” where folks, such as Res, DJ Dez, D-Break and Darius Rucker (Hootie & the Blowfish), would come to hang, record and “vibe” together…hence the name, House of Vibe. Since then, HOV has taken on many forms and a core conviction…music for them, about them, by them.

Subsequently, Brew (Fishbone/Untouchables), Fish (Fishbone), D-Break (Untouchables), DJ Dez (Slum Village) and Pocket (guitarist/Erykah Badu) of the House of Vibe crew were called upon frequently to play various gigs for major label recording artists such as Justin Timberlake, Everlast, De La Soul, Talib Kweli, Chali 2na, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Res, Nikka Costa, N’dea Davenport and others.
