As you all know, when it comes to music, Speed Garage is my first love.. I never stopped playing it & collecting it whenever I could over the years & I never will. Whether in the club, at parties, on live streams, at home. 

There’s been a few times over the years when it’s almost made a come back but never anywhere near as strong and healthy as it is today!

The Speed Garage scene is well and truly back with some massively talented producers bringing it back to the top of the underground scene.

Since reflective as started back up in sheff and im guttered i cant attend so i thought i would pull out all the classics and make a reflective style set!!! Hope you like... enjoy folks :)

BACK TO BASSLINE Vol 5 ( Reflective Style )

Mikey G, notorious for his hard-hitting, unique sets, is a DJ from Birmingham, now living in Leicester, UK.
Mikey grew up listening to a wide variety of dance music and was heavily influenced by the bass heavy music being played around the midlands. He gained a huge interest in Drum & Bass, Garage and Bassline/Speed Garage. 

Having been to hundreds of dance events, he decided to learn to DJ himself and began honing his skills, and was soon booked to play at local club nights. 

He started playing at various Drum & Bass events around the UK and supported numerous big name DJ’s across the scene. He became interested in ‘Jackin House’ and ‘House & Bass’, new styles of music giving a fresh twist on the Garage tunes he grew up listening to. 

He began DJ’ing at events regularly across the Midlands and as his popularity grew, so did his busy Dj’ing schedule - which is now frequently jam-packed, playing for many various club nights in the D&B and Bass House scene. 

In August 2015 Mikey was asked to play at the closing party at Summerfest, a world leading skydive event in Chicago USA. After delivering a 6hr non-stop marathon set, he didn't disappoint! 

Mikey plays at many events based around the Midlands and has gained residencies at nights including Nostalgia, Toxsikk, Latenight Bass, Lips, Wheel It Up, DNA and Houseproud as well as playing at festivals such as Forbidden Forest & Xstatic. 

He has been asked to guest on numerous radio shows including Demon FM, Radio 2 Funky & Loco London as well as appearing on numerous online live streams especially during the Pandemic where he regularly kept fans entertained with his own mixes and guest appearances. 

Mikey regularly posts live mixes on his Soundcloud page which have gained a large world-wide audience and are eagerly anticipated by many. 

His recent Collateral Damage mix series has had a huge response and he has now introduced his Mikey G & Friends mix series where he will be inviting top Drum and Bass MC's to feature on his mixes. 

He ensures any mix or live set he does has lots of energy and ground-shaking bass to keep the crowd dancing from start to finish.
