Influenced by the brilliant work (Dark Sitar) of The Pharmaceutical Phaggot, some Sitar in this track. Main stringed is mandolin. TPP refused to transact a ludicrous deal I proposed some weeks ago, by which I offered TPP,  in part exchange for his Sitar, a banjo playing rodent (so far as he knew). Following the collapse of what would have been a transaction to remember, I therefore had to make my own Sitar.... from commonly available household items (mostly stuff found in a drawer marked 'pieces of string too small for use'). Live Without Fear - Michael Gogol

My name is Michael Gogol and I come from the Celle district near Hanover. I've been making music since I was 10 years old. I started at that age with a Bontempi organ that I wanted for Christmas in 1974. Incidentally, I was interested in playing the harmonica in my youth.

By chance, when I was 14, I met the well-known German pioneer of electronic music, Klaus Schulze, also known for the Alphaville group, who was living in our village at the time. I interviewed Klaus Schulze with my friend for a school presentation and we received a full-day private demonstration from him. Since then I couldn't get away from it and became interested in synthesizers myself.

I bought my first synthesizer in 1980 with the first money I saved from my apprenticeship. After that, my money gradually went to new hardware. Mostly it was a back and forth between my musical friends. 40 years later I'm still at it. At the end of 2019 I switched my music studio to software. I mainly create synth pop tracks using analog synths from the 80's and 90's and bring them up to current 2020's level.Follow me and thanks for listening. Thanks 🧡
