wie ich auf diesen Namen gekommen bin "Proxima "

Proxima Centauri ist der uns am nächsten gelegene Stern außerhalb unseres Sonnensystems und befindet sich in einer Entfernung von etwas mehr als vier Lichtjahren¹. Er ist ein roter Zwergstern vom Spektraltyp M5.5Ve und besitzt nur rund 12 Prozent der Masse unserer Sonne sowie lediglich 0,17 Prozent ihrer Leuchtkraft¹.

Um Proxima Centauri kreist ein erdähnlicher Planet, der als Proxima Centauri b bekannt ist. Dieser Planet umkreist den Stern einmal alle 11,2 Tage in einem Abstand von sieben Millionen Kilometern – innerhalb der habitablen Zone, in der es möglicherweise die richtigen Bedingungen für die Entstehung von Leben gibt¹. Die Masse des Proxima Centauri b wird auf etwa 1,3 Erdmassen geschätzt¹.

Obwohl Proxima Centauri b in der habitablen Zone liegt, ist es unklar, ob lebensfreundliche Bedingungen auf dem Planeten herrschen. Die Nähe zu seinem Heimatstern könnte zu gebundener Rotation führen, was bedeutet, dass der Planet dem Stern immer dieselbe Seite zuwendet. Dies würde auf einer Seite des Planeten zu hohen Temperaturen und ewigem Tag führen, während die andere Seite ewige Nacht erleben würde¹. Zudem könnten die stellare Aktivität des Sterns und die damit verbundenen Flares sowie hochenergetische Teilchen und Röntgenstrahlung, die den Planeten bombardieren, ungünstige Voraussetzungen für die Entstehung von Leben darstellen¹.

Es bleibt spannend zu beobachten, welche weiteren Erkenntnisse die Astronomie in Zukunft über Proxima Centauri b und die Möglichkeit von Leben im All liefern wird..

I’m an independent artist/label composing cinematic electronic music since 2005 when Indigo World Productions was formed and registered through ASCAP. The music you will hear is a direct expression of inspirations and visualizations. I’m mostly self-taught with little formal training and having had but for a few lessons.

The music is produced using multiple virtual instruments including Omnisphere and Kontakt. I’m using a Roland FA-08 88-key weighted-action synth workstation to produce some of the sounds I’m working with and to drive the VSTs through MIDI. The vocals I work with were recorded by a professional soloist and licensed for commercial use. 

From the start I’ve been inspired by film scores from composers such as Vangelis, Ennio Morricone, and Hans Zimmer. I’m greatly inspired by the works of Vangelis. The music I create is emotive with minimal engineering to preserve the feeling behind the music.   

In addition to music, I’ve worked summers supervising crews on wildfires in Colorado. I also volunteered as team leader for search & rescue, performing rescues and recoveries in the mountains of southern Colorado as a way of giving back to the community. 

Indigo World Productions is an independent publisher label cleared and registered through ASCAP'S DART Claim Publisher Members and Affiliated Foreign Societies in 2005.

Thank you so much for being here and taking the time to listen to my music.

My first steps in electronic music were with the Atari 260 ST (manually upgraded to 1 MB memory), a Yamaha PSR460 keyboard and Cubeat 1.0 (later renamed to Cubase 1.0). So I've always been focused on Cubase, so to speak.

That was a long time ago. In the meantime I set up my little studio and recorded a few songs for myself. However, I didn't dare to publish them because they might not be good enough for the world. 

But at the beginning of 2023 I risked to publish the first songs. I hope you like my music, even if everything is very amateurish.

Omapots is an electronic music producer from Norway. He merges his science background with a deep interest in sound, and utilizes both passion and scientific principles in exploring new sound textures. Analog synthezisers and Eurorack setups play a large role in the sound design process accompanied by organic recordings, such as birds or laboratory equipments in part of the sculpting process of experimental flavours.

I'm Michael Gogol, a German musician whose journey began after meeting Klaus Schulze in my hometown. Since then, I've explored the world of synthesizers and collaborated internationally, including with Neil W. Young. My work has earned awards like the IAIA Golden Kayak and festival honors. My sound: atmospheric, introspective, timeless.

DJ for various occasions till the age of 25, I always loved electro music till my life changed and turned to be  more demanding, leading me to stop mixing . However, I stayed attentive to the world of electronic music, and more specifically to the « lounge » and « deep house » style played at the Buddha Bar, which remains for me  a source of inspiration.  
Allowing me to be in  direct contact with thousand of people, the 2018  and 2019 technoparades gave me the opportunity  and motivation to go back to the turntables, while trigerring my return into the electro-music world. I was then able to mix sounds accumulated for years, turning the whole thing into an incredible experience.  I now produce my own pieces of Deep House,  Organic House, Ethno Deep House, Tech House, and Lounge, using tones reminiscent of  the Middle and Far East, Eastern Europe and India.
