The 1994 Oldskool Show - Episode 5 - Mallorca Lee & Mark Sherry

Many years ago before the rise of social media there was a mix that was uploaded to various Forums such as TranceAddict and Trance.Nu by a member called BlackPlasma entitled the History of Trance.

After all these years it’s still one of my favourite mixes of all time. It was originally released in 3 parts due to it being over 8 hours long and the limitations of internet upload speeds back then. 

Thankfully I have found the original file and have merged all 3 parts together so you can enjoy it in all of it’s entirety, it really is a true journey throughout every single trance classic from the early 1990s to the mid 2000s. 

No one really knew who exactly BlackPlasma was with many speculating that it was a massive name such as PVD, Ferry or Armin due to how well the mix was executed. 

Highly recommend you listen to this if you love Trance as much as I do.

We were delighted to have David Forbes on the podcast this episode.  David talks about the early influences that got him interested in breakdancing culture, and music.
