Butch: A DJ’s DJ, A Producer’s Producer, A Electronic Music Chameleon

Some DJs chase trends. Butch sets them. With two decades in electronic music, he moves effortlessly between house, techno, and everything in between. From closing Circoloco at DC-10 to extended sets at Robert Johnson, his sound is always evolving.

Born in Mainz with Turkish roots, Butch hustled his way into the scene, earning multiple Best Producer awards and working with legends like Ricardo Villalobos, Armand van Helden, Cassius, Maceo Plex, and Keinemusik. His releases on Innervisions, Running Back, Defected, Rekids, Diynamic, and Cuttin’ Headz have shaped the underground.

2025 is set to be massive, with his remix of Duck Sauce’s “Falling In Love” already dominating dancefloors and more releases on the way. Butch doesn’t follow rules—he just makes music that moves people.

In a story still in its early stages, a wise decision kick-started a rather exciting journey for Swedish sensation Galavant. After Victor (Sjöström) got wind of the music of Sebastian (Atas) in 2012, they decided to go all-in and put all of their efforts into making music together. Thus, Galavant was born. It proved a wise decision indeed…
After breaking onto the scene in 2013, things moved pretty fast in their native Sweden. Galavant’s debut single ‘Tonight’ was awarded with certified platinum and garnered well over 6 million streams on Spotify in Sweden alone. Twenty-two weeks in the Swedish Top 100 made their success undeniable. 
Their swift rise to stardom fueled no less impressive wave-making in the live aspect of the music industry. Galavant wowed crowds on a regular basis through some of their biggest and most prestigious gigs in Scandinavia, including their set at Summerburst Festival in front of 45.000 people, who all got to witness the musical prowess of debut single ‘Tonight’ as the festival’s theme song. Together with Carlsberg, Galavant even brandished their acclaimed sound at Axwell’s own concept: Where’s The Party! 
Now, Galavant have released on labels such as Ultra Music, Universal, and Ministry Of Sound, dropped bombs such as ‘World Of Dreams’, ‘Rule The World’, ‘Sing This Song’, and ‘Zero’, and signed with two new major partners: Armada Music and Sony. Championed by the likes of David Guetta, Avicci, Daddy’s Groove, and more, Galavant have achieved great things in a short amount of time and will continue their ridiculously swift ascend, focusing on an new and fresh sound. Galavant are aiming for the world! Soon, that’ll prove to be yet another wise decision.
